On future auctions, what people usually is to put the date/time of auction start and end, add the starting bid and minimum increment, and all the other important information into the first post. The sylestia forum rules require you to post the exact time of auction end.

After that,they reserve a second post where they either post their pets for auction, or have a separate 'Highest Bid update box' somewhere after. That's because you can edit the posts after the first.

Also, we have a Newbie mentoring thread to help mentor newbies if they requested it :3 If you are ever in doubt, don't hesitate to drop a post!!
