What the above means is this:
How It Was
Myrmidon: Either 100% Physical Damage, 100% Magical Damage, or 75% Physical and Magical Damage.
100% Strength and 100% Dexterity.
50% Intelligence and 50% Agility.
What It Is Now
Myrmidon: 100% Physical Damage.
100% Strength and 120% Dexterity.
60% Intelligence and 60% Agility.

Goldenfeather74- They should be still! Myrmidon and Assassin have always been physically oriented Strength-boosters, and Evoker and Illusionist have always been magically oriented Intelligence-boosters. The new system (as I understand it) just adjusts things so that you won't get, say, a Myrmidon Relic that boosts magical damage, and overall makes gear better for each specific type. Nvm, Krin beat me to it :')
As for the rest of it;
Love to see that there's some gear that basically exists to make mission pets better at missions; definitely looking forward to getting some of these!

Cool. This new system will take some adjusting to, but it definitely makes things more interesting. What will happen to the Mitigations, Chances, and Bonuses though? I assume they stay the same?

Thank you so much for the rework Krinadon! Equipment management and having to discard weird combos like Warden and Crusader has always frustrated me.
Great change, looking forward to testing it out. :D

Hmmm...actually this makes it easier to build up certain pets to have certain stats yet still have variety.
Sometimes it was a pain to try and build up certain attributes only to find that certain relics varied so much that you had to sacrifice if you wanted something.
(Sorry..it is morning so I am not too coherent...)
Anyways I like the revisions.

So Crusader and Warden are more or less... Being replaced by these better ones. I mean, I use Crusader on my intelligence and strength mission pets, so now that gear is more or less irrelevant because Arcanist and Ravager gear has even BETTER intelligence and strength boosts. And Warden is replaced by dexterity and agility boosts on the other sets! Nice!! I was confused but then actually typing it out helped me get it. This is brilliant, I'm super excited. I'm going to bookmark this post so I can come back to it once it's implemented on existing equipment, as there will be much equipment shuffling needed I think. Yay!
