I have another idea. Since Lightningstar is supposed to have just arrived in the new territories, how about she was on patrol with her too?
(You do mean she is from the old clan, right?)

Um, about your post...
These are supposed to be feral cats (wild house cats) so don't you think your first cat is a bit to powerful? Cats that small can't take down deer. And he can melt into the shadows only as far as his colors take him, just making sure.
Treeclan has not yet been formed either, so there is no leader yet. I would appreciate it if you would look at the history I posted.
Sorry if I sound rude or mean, but I want this to be a warrior cat thing, and we are not having powers yet either. If it works out, we can add them in the future, perhaps even to the old charters.
I like the rest of your post though! :)

Warrior.
2 reasons.
It would be unusual for both leader and deputy to go on a hunting patrol the one time there was a horrible earthquake.
It keeps that space open for a good cat who I know makes good decisions and stuff.
