Meet little robin redbreast
I made this a little while back by using a colour picker to get all of her colours directly from a photo of the actual bird. It's based specifically on the American robin which we have here in Ontario Canada where I live. One of the sure signs that spring has sprung is when the robins come out of hiding and start pairing up and building nests. The first week of spring I actually encountered a flock of maybe twenty or so all flitting about gathering food. I cant be sure exactly what photo I used but I think it may have been this one.

I started by thinking about what spring is to me, so I made this thinking of spring colors like sky blue and rose red. |

Inspiration: There's a lot of flowers at my house, and I spend lots of time outside so they have become my favorite thing to draw, also I really like the whole flower look because it's generally a thing that people don't expect boys to like but I actually love roses. Thanks for the opportunity! |

I live in the desert, so a sandy ,but very vegetated, pet matches the way my town looks in spring. And the leaves dry out very quickly here, so brown and green leaves match that look.  |

When I think of spring I think of butterflies, flowers, and rabbits. I used to watch butterflies fly around when spring came. Me and my friends used to try and see how close we could get to a butterfly before it would fly away. The color scheme is based off of the colors of the Snapdragon, which is my favorite flower. Creating this Sylesti has brought back so many memories. |
