I think you guys would enjoy the Rawtech server, it has a bunch of mini-games and though I haven't really checked them out since it added them all, it might have a hunger games ^^
(it's not open at the moment though.. I was on a while ago but a hacker got on and everyone got kicked so they closed the server for now)

Btw, why don't you guys try out the Dwarves vs. Zombies? It's like hunger games except you don't need to go around finding items because you start out with them and one of the special weapons at random(aka everyone gets a special weapon but they're all different)
And once you die you still get to play the game as a mob

I absolutely love playing minecraft! It was my favorite game for quite a while until I was introduced to other PC games. I really don't have any servers to play on, and single player isn't all that fun to me. So, I don't play as often as I used to. Lol

I love minecraft. I literally play it for almost half of the day if I am able to. I own a server but it isn't public and I don't know how to make it public sadly.
