I may have already sent the application, but I had to ask: You may not do traditional art, but since traditional can be digatized, is it okay to submit traditional for an example?

I'd preferably like to see digital art.

Time to re-buy Photoshop.

I know right? XD I got a new comp and have to buy a whole new photoshop (which costs wayyyy to much) so I'm using GIMP right now till I pull up some more money to buy another pack.

Had to give up my animation abilities of CS4, but otherwise GIMP does pretty well for being a free-version, has everything else! <3

Yeah, I had a top-of-the-line fancee setup with CS4, nice tablet, fast computer- It was awesome. Then it caught fire.

Worst. Day. Ever.

I just got the trial version of the new PS and am grabbing all of the critter bases, just in cases. Give me something to do, anyroad. You know the song from Avenue Q, "What Do You Do With A BA In English?" It applies to an A.A and a B.A in art as well. :/

Omg, YUSH. You think BA in Art is bad, try having one in FINE ART like me. Everyone thinks I'm suppose to be this painterly person that runs out with an essal or do ancient ways of art.

Which I can do, but I like my digital stuff T_T worst of all, my school didn't allow minors in the BA of Fine Arts, I have to claim a 'high emphasis in Graphic arts and Animation' XP

But omg, that does sound like the worst day ever ;-; I had t get a new comp cause mine just couldn't handle my video games and PS at the same time. I needed a POWER COMPUTER >O! Now I have a nice comp, a nice bamboo tablet, and GIMP XD...I couldn't sneak my PS over onto this comp...though I still have the old comp...I might figure out how to do it some day. <3

How's Bamboo compare to Wacom? My tablet's a Wacom.
As for the fire, its even worse than losing my computer. I LOST EVERY PIECE OF ART FROM NEARLY SIX YEARS OF MY CAREER. My portfolio. The backups for the websites I had built on commission. The professional stuff I had drawn for commission. Everything I had done as a student. I had backed it up onto an external hard drive, but the drive got destroyed- it got hit with the fire extinguisher.

If I get all philosophical about it, losing that computer was like losing my identity as an artist. Suddenly I had nothing to prove who I was or what I could do. all I have left is like six thinks I dropped on Deviantart in the Stone Age. The feeling of loss of self is indescribable. By the way, @Faiona That's why my submissions were really old art and off-topic-ish. Still, this could be a good time to rebuild!
