At this moment, nothing has really been decided. I am currently saving up to get some of the item that I am going to need to create this specific series, so mostly I just have the designs set up.

could I suggest either finding regenerate kelps, or breeding the genes and then Dyeing them

That is most likely what I will be doing. It will be a lot faster then trying to breed the colors I'm looking for.

My plan is to breed all of the traits I need, then dye them the preferred colors. Once I get every one that I wish, I'm going to open up breeding options to the public, so everyone who wants one can get one.

It is a better option to breed out the gene/ Mutations you want then dye because dyes are really expensive.

I have a few Re-gen kelps I bought which (upon creation) will have pearl armor, not so sure about the other Traits tho. But the traits you want are very common so it shouldn't be hard to aquire the ones you need.

The only trait that is regenable is pearl armor, but it's so cheap that it's a waste to regen it. Here are two really cheap pets with them visible.

Next, here's a pet with visible pearl helm only. It's essential that it has no extraneous traits.

There are no pets with nebula only visible or luminous fins. I'd suggest that you buy an essence for this. There are currently none on the broker. Buy a regular kelp essence, then give it visible nebula, and then buy another one and give it luminous fins. With some strategic breeding, you'll have your pearl guard kelps eventually.
Once you have two kelps that can breed with each other that have all of the visibles, dye them, and then sell their offspring.

And regarding the design itself, I hold the opinion that the pure white is too bland, as well as too black. You want the focus on the pretty blue, not the white pearl armor as well. The white on the luminous fins doesn't seem quite right, so I would change that to some kind of blue. This is a very similar design that I got when fiddling around with yours that retains most of the colors but changes those few things.

Or, I think that keeping the white and just changing luminous fins works as well.

I have a couple of traits on a few males if you want to use them for breeding.

And this female has Nebula and is set for breeding for you too.. My sunset is one of my last projects.
