They are really big birds.
Well... There are bigger birds in the world, true
but goldens are still The big birds of the Aquila genus :)

I had the pleasure of standing next to a female named Hera that weighted aproximately 7kg
Her foot was bigger than my palm with claws the size of my fingers.
Her owner had to hood her when people were around
to keep her from messing around too much.
(If she grabbed someone that would've ended very, very badly)

yep totally :) It's one of my favourite raptors, and it would be in first place with the peregrine falcon, but the peregrine has literally too many patterns so I made the golden eagle instead :)

PS Strawberrycandy's a big fan of birds and raptors and she gave me the idea of the golden eagle

Peregrines are funny ones. :D
I love watching their nesting and breeding habits on nest cameras.
They can be sooo talkative!

A friend of mine owned a smal male some time ago.
That feathery boy was extremely talkative, especially when he saw a dog or a car.

As for patterns... They are a bit like goshawks. :)
(Aurleon was impossible to recreate their patterns so I had to work with Nytes xD)
