My Winter Griffi is based off of an image I saw of a sunset/rise over a snowy horizon. It was dark, light, warm and cold and that's how I imagine winter to be.

Inspired by the smell of peppermint hot cocoa that's always fresh made on Christmas and Christmas Eve.

Reference
The griffi was walking in a forest where the branches were covered with snow. Her blue eyes shimmered as the pale golden moonlight fluttered in through the darkness, causing shadows along the night time path. This is where she gained her colours, blessed by the frost, moon and path, in time for the bells of Christmas eve to start ringing.

Midnight Snowfall
I have a hard time sleeping at night, so sometimes midnights become my mornings. Midnight also tends to be one of the coldest times of day where I live, so if it snows, midnight is when snow falls. There's something peculiarly enchanting about snowfall, especially when it falls in the dark. It gently comes to settle against the earth, and everything is still. But you can't always see it all that well, especially if the grass is too warm to keep the snow. So instead, I watch it against the sky, the way it dances on the way down. Midnight snowfall is beautiful, like watching a snow globe from the inside.
