Defiance Peregryn | Quartermaster | Location: Helm | Interactions: Maxine

Defiance stood at the gunwale of the quarterdeck next to a cannon, watching the dark blue sea below them and the tiny sliver of land on the horizon.
The sun was setting, and Defiance faced it so that her face was bathed in the last golden rays of day. Colsing her eyes, she sighed, her hole slender frame moving. Reaching up, she tucked the fluttering, loose ends of her faded, worn navy headscarf away so they were no longer flapping in her face with the wind.
Turning away, she stalked across the deck to the stairs up to the poop deck. No, seriously. That's what the raised deck in the back of a ship where the helm is is called.
Before she could get there, she had to stop and tap a girl on the shoulder. The lass swung around, nearly jumping out of her skin. "Relax, lassie," Defiance said gently. Honestly, it sometimes felt as though some of the pirates were even more scared of her than they were of the navy chasing them. She really didn't try to be intimidating - and none of the seasoned pirates were scared of her - but it seemed like the new girls were terrified for their first week or so, until Defiance had earned their trust and respect. Defiance knew those would go far further than fear.
"Do you think ye can scurry down to the hold and bring up a strip or two of saltmeat?"
The girl saluted jokingly, already more at ease. "Aye, Miss!"
Defiance smiled. "Ye ain't a lady no more, and I'm certainly not. No need for formalities."
She gave a moc shudder as though she loathed anything remotly formal, and the lass grinned, then rushed off.
Moments later, she reappeared, holding out the saltmeat. Defiance thanked her, and continued up to the helm.
She stood next to Captain Maxine for several moments in silence. The other woman was as close to a sister as anyone was, and Defiance knew her almost as well as she knew herself.
"Eat," she said, holding out the dried, salted meat. "You look exausted. Food'll be good for ye."
There was a chattering noise above them, and Defiance looked up to see a small, brown monkey clinging to the ropes. She couldn't help but smile as she held out her arm. He swung down and scurried up her arm to sit on her shoulder. "Hey, Falkan," she said, shifting her weight so her companion didn't throw her off balance on the swaying ship, before glancing at Maxine again.

Maxine Nevermore | Female | 19 | Captain | Location- Helm | Interactions- Defiance, Open
( So, question, was Defiance already on the ship before the meeting- if so was she another survivor of the attack? Because I thought it was more like Maxine was picking up the next crew- and there was only her left on the ship currently. Just confused a bit )

Maxine was just about ready to fall over at this moment. The searing pain spreading out in her body was of no help either. She winced slightly as she moved the wrong way making her feel almost sick. She nearly jumped out of her skin hearing Defiance speak- clearly still shaken up from he prior events of the attack. " No thank you Defiance, but I appreciate the jesture. " Defiance was the only person on board she let herself relax beside- her tone and way of speaking still formal and proper as how she liked it. It was no secret she was once up there though- her body still had the form from wearing a corset and how she walked, talked, moved, and even ate was more then refined. " Why don't you eat? I think I shall be holding out just fine thank you. " She said with the faintest of smiles clinging to her tired lips.

( Also I ended with being at the docks xd )

Circe Karsinda| Sailor| location:docks| mentions: none

Circe stood still atop the docks. The night air blowing her long dark hair, slightly wet from the sea spray. She stood so utterly still, in the night she could have been mistaken for one of the pilings on the dock. Her dark almond eyes were deep and held sorrow, as they might always will for the rest of her life. Her face was stone though, showing nothing but calm and a bit of contemplation as she studied the dark ship docking. The Nights Revenge. So it was real, and it had came. This time boarding would be different, she would make it to. No chains, no hiding, no anger, pain, loss or sorrow. This time it would be freedom, adventure, treasure, and blood.
Her glittering eyes followed the Captainas she walked down. As she saw her better in the night she was at first startled. She was younger than she had expected, perhaps even younger than herself. She masked her surprise though, and watched her, studying her new Captain. She held herself well enough, though she could see the sorrow in her, if just cause it mirrored her own...

Cassiopeia Van Prince | Apprentice to Quarter mater Defiance| location:docks| mentions: none (idk what to really ever put in here anyway)

Cassiopeias mismatched eyes, icey blue and bright sea green, analyzed the ship docking, the young female Captain walking off, and the other soon to be Nights crew around her. At first look she wouldnt have guessed the woman to be the Captain, but she looked battle worn and comfortable on the ship. Also there seemed to be no one else, and she was wearing the right hat. As Cassiopeias sharp eyes studied all the Captains very movements, she saw that she must have been wounded by the way she walked, and tired but trying not to show it. There must have been a resent battle or something, perhaps with heavy loss. She took in all the woman around her, the cool night air around her warm to her. Female pirates. Because not only men could draw blood, blow fire, and tame the seas.
The sea. She inched to get back to it. Memories of when she and her brother, Orion, had been young rushed in. Salty wind in smaller white sails, dark waves writhing beneath, the steady rocking and groaning if the ship, the endless horizon. Then, her and her brother had been on equal footing. She would be no ones wife but the seas now.
Was it the Navy who killed your last crew? She asked, her voice was not raised at all, but was sharp and cutting through the wind.

Pigwidgeon| Powder Monkey| location:docks| mentions: none

Pigwidgeon gapped a bit as the ship docked, the others all towering around her on the docks. It was big and dark, its tall masts reaching into the sky. She couldnt wait to get on and explore. To slip through every nook and cranny, to climb past even the crows nest. If she got in as a Powder Monkey, then they would give her stuff to blow things up! She was a bit giddy at the thought, a mischievous grin on her face, her black eyes sparkling. She was ready to get off this rutting piece of land and to see new lands, and hopefully have treasure and not be piss poor and starving all the time. She also would be apart of a crew! She had never been apart of anything in her life. As the Captain walked down, or at least she must have been the Captain cause she looked all imposing and tall and had that pirate captains hat, she had to contain herself from figiting. What if they didnt want her? What would she do then? Maybe just drown myself like Ben... no. No I will sneak onto that ship if I have to. I was meant for this, I have to be.

(I hope this isn't me being weird or anything but could you also link the sign ups?I find the Visuals and descriptions of everyone's bio's and stuff helpful, also i think that some will be the new crew and a few the old crews survivors if that works? )

Diance Diaba|Gunner|Location:The rigging|Mentions:The remaining crew of the Night's Revenge
"stupid Navies with their Dammed gunns, messing up the sails" she muttered as she hung and tried to sew the burnt sails, they'd have to probably grab a larger better patch, which would either cost money or time to plan and heist it."There ye go.." she muttered to the sail patting it once she had gotten the makeshift part in.She flipped herself back upright in the rigging and watched the horizon for any sign of the navy. The rest of the remaining crew was down on the deck...they hadn't done a head count yet.Or maybe they had and she'd missed it.

Alisa Taercot|Midshipman|Outside the captain's quarters|Mentions:Captian Fane Starr
He knocked softly on the captain's quarters,he'd been told to announce that they were coming to port and ask if the captain had wanted anything. It wasn't exactly his job but it was in a way.He tugged his sleeves down a tad more just to hide a few scars and the like. He'd already bandaged up the upper area of his arms..so the blood didn't stain his coat.
