yes it is ok, and sometimes it can work better. rikki healer has mostly pyro (meant for fire) gear for more damage. water tank superlup has some warden (earth) gear bc higher agility helps more than water since she is a tank. as long as you match int gear w/ magic elements, strength gear w/ physical elements its ok. remeber their place in battle to, tanks should have more agility and other two should hae mostly int/str and dex.

jsut.. dont do something like put air gear on a light pet, that doesnt work too well

As Encryption said above, don't mix equipt meant for a specific element that's obviously not meant for a different element. Been there, done that, got brutally bashed.

YOu can get some epic and aobve gear from mission grinding (plus extra gold from the stuff you don't need and so forth). Maybe that's why I have 500 revive potions...
