It's fine, alot of people get a bit confuse with the ping system when they start. ^-^

Some items are not avalable during battles, the ones you want to have for that fight are elixir and draught, potions and Ent flask (you get them in the lost grove, not at your level) only work between battles.

When a battle start you have the option to vew inventory (with the satchel icone) to use traps or go into manage party and select use healing items.

Yup, that's the guide i thought you meant and i already read through it :)
It's just hard to buy items from TH when you're a newbie w/o a lot of money. (I am glad i got gifted a bit, but still it's hard to spend it^^)

I think i'll try the 'event way' for now and make some more level there before i try to fight this harder group again.

no problem, and fighting the festival bosses will give you gears if you beat them so you may be able to get what you nead this way without having to buy evrything. ^-^

on the matter of making gold, I'll direct you to this post we made because it has the links- the guides to making gold and the guide to missions.


The strategy with mobs that replenish:
Aim for one single enemy slot, aim for the strongest (most stars) enemy only when one is present.

Looking at your current team, it's Orange Twinspur, Green Nightmare, and Toxicity?
Part of your problem will be that Green doesn't have an assigned element or proficiency point.
Part of the problem is the equipment the pets have (eg, Toxicity has an Illusionist Relic, which is seriously hindering her damage output, since it boosts her Magical Damage, which as a Physical Element pet she doesn't use).

Since Orange and Toxicity are both pure attacker elements (Attacker: Air, Fire, rarely Shadow. Air get Myrmidon, Fire and Shadow get Evoker), I'd expect Green is your slot 1 pet tank?
(Tank: Typically a pet of Earth, Water, or Shadow elements, occasionally Light. Best equipped with gear that boosts Agi (Assassin for Earth/Water, Illusionist for Shadow/Light))

For the fight you're struggling with in particular, it might help to temporarily swap Orange to being a Light pet to act as healer, as his fire attacks hit multiple opponents at once, which is a bit of a hindrance in those particular kinds of mobs.
(Healer: Light. Equip with Illusionist or Evoker)

I actually aimed for exactly that one enemy, it was kinda my guts telling me to do so. Glad that was right haha!

The problems you see in my team are there, yes. I figured that based on other comments/pms I got, so i will make sure to change that and clean the mess up soon.
I even got some builds I could copy for now and I think i'll do that as long as I haven't understand all the details - so your question about my "tank" is such a thing - i didn't even think about that - there is no tank yet x)

At least i am a "good noob" i think ^^ If i fail, i fail completely - thats something!? x)
