I am in Lost Grove since yesterday and i am trying to progress to stage 2 currently (~30-40% or so), but i have a rather hard time with the "mini" bosses to gather what i need. It's working, just annoying and it costs tons of time as i have to move out to heal, then back in. (The potions are sooo expensive <.<)
I just stalked your guide and the part about maxstats is awesome - i didn't knew how to get them yet, while I still think that i have to live with the ones i currently have - at least for a while. I'll def dig through it more!!
I also didn't knew that you get auto-healed in Maw. Thanks so much for telling me, i think i'll try that then by tomorrow (dang timezones.)
Again, thanks a ton <3

Have you encountered the buffs yet? So I noticed one of my pets got a buff from a plasma, had a counter of 36 turns. They have the opposite effect, they boost your pet's attack. In the case of the blue one, it regenerated 20 mana per turn! Now if we could just figure out how to trigger them. I wonder if it happens when you get a combo of debuffs? I might do a turn by turn tracking to see what I can figure out.
Pinging Jaidi too, because he was trying to figure out the buff/debuff situation :)

The buff/debuff show up after I kill the summons (plasma dudes), generally. If you don't kill them by the time their migitation buff drops to rank0, they will despawn and debuff you. their base migitation starts at 14% (stats wise, looked at it through my scanner). The buff gives them 20% mitigation per rank. starts at rank5. so hitting them first round is bad. hitting them with light's 2nd ability when it's at rank2 or 3 is amazing heals. Fire's 4th skill will blow them up. so I generally cast it soon as they appear so the very end of it hits them when tehy're rank1 for maximum damage (or close to) from the skill

That's understandable about the mini bosses (or Elites). If you have no trouble with sprites or nightfall guys, you should be able to get through the first 3 stages, maybe 4:
Stage 1:
- 3 Sprites
Stage 2:
- Ancient Ent & 2 Sprites
Stage 3:
- Chuck Porous (Earth Construct) 120k health - block at 100 mana to avoid stun?
- Spruce Lee (Sprite) 100k health
- Steven Seagull (Aurl) 80k health
When you are able to afford max stats, it is a good idea to get them. Because your pet's abilities rank up with every battle in the LG. So the sooner you get the maxes in there, the faster and better they will become. I totally get it, it took me a couple months to save enough to buy my first ones. Make sure to "run the zone" in both the fest and LG to collect treasure chests. They can contain gold, esp LG ones can have lots of gold. I occasionally get 100k plus from an LG chest! That might depend on your stage level, not sure. Worth a try though!
I have this girl you can have, she is near max and should help you out :) Not as good as a true max, because the mana and health aren't max. But pretty good, if you want her :

If you want her, I can send along a renaming thing, E3 isn't very good for a perma pet. She is a project pet, I name them with numbers to keep track lol

on the buffs side, I've seen 100% more magical and physical dmg. Gain mana by 20 pet turn.
There's also vicious vines or something that does 2500-5k dmg noncrit and can indeed crit. hella damages there. seen it do 11k crits on me when I don't block. basically a 1shot since my siders are below 10k hp.

I notice the vines happen on his gathering 100 mana last turn attack. I think you can block them with all pets? Slowly figuring it out lol
And hey, that other buff sounds nice, I need that lolol. Thanks for the tips on the plasma attacks. I was waiting until their shield was down, I'll try your method.

ya the best buff-debuff setup I've had so far has been. 100% dmg on dps, 30% reduced dmg on tank, and one of the tick damages that happen every turn on the healer....which it could overheal by a small margin. though with supermaxes, better gear on the healer- cud outheal it easily.

I did not receive any rewards in the mail, only the stuff including the enigmatic gem it lets you claim afterward.
