So, if I am understanding this correctly, if I upgrade to premium one hour before the festival ends, I can still claim all 50 prizes? which gives me (I assume) at least 25 days to earn that many diamonds.
In other praises, the artwork looks gorgeous and I can't wait, I love advent calendars, and have never been on sylestia for one.
That is correct. =)

I don't see a viable link to purchase that premium one. I have the diamonds, but unless it's listed somewhere for sale, that does me no good.

Calendar doesn't open until tomorrow, so you'll likely be able to upgrade it then.

I wanted to have it in place so it could open when the calendar does, which is probably at midnight...and I didn't really want to stay up that late. Oh well, I've got access to an outdoor electrical outlet and this is Southern Florida...with overnight lows in the 60s...and I've got a jacket. Dairy Queen doesn't mind if it use it. It's all good. I just don't have electric where I live...due to some people's notions of 'roughing it'.

Oh goodness, not sure I'd be wanting to rough it in Florida. I know how hot my area of North Carolina gets in summer. Hopefully you'll be able to get it set without too much trouble!

I was raised in Onslow County back in the 60s and 70s, so...yeah, tell me about it. From one native North Carolinian to another, I'll say this much: I don't mind the heat, it's the year-round chiggers and red mites the size of small spiders that I could live without quite happily...and don't even get me started on the no-see-ums. Or the little worms that drop from the pines around here, covered in sap and they just sort of stick wherever they land. Dunno how many times I've gotten a tangle from hades that way.

Just a few questions about the premium upgrade:
A: Is this a one-time purchase, or an annual upgrade we need to buy anew each year?
B: What kind of rewards can we expect from the premium days? Exclusive avatar items? Themed pets?

Lucky. Southern California is snowing and hailing and no one is really quite sure what's going on since Mamoth Ski Resort already has 10 feet of snow and we usually don't get stuff like that until January....

It is a one-time purchase per Calendar. It will not be like a permanent account unlock.
The rewards are basically similar to the day's Free Prize, but more 'premium' in some way. Once you've claimed a day's prize, you will also be able to see what the Premium Prize for the day as well.

Oh sweetheart, I know exactly what California did...you allowed the water table to get unbalanced. When all those reservoirs were drained nearly to the last drop it put everything out of balance. Northern California went up like the dry tinder it was allowed to become since most of the mountain snow melt has been draining straight into the cities on the coasts, due to massive over population.
Anyone with a functioning mind worked that out years ago and most of us did try to warn you folks, but you never listen...so, having blithely done as you pleased over there, you now get to reap what you sowed. Have fun with it. I highly advise you to ration water and import as many beaver as you can to place them upstream. Those can balance a water table if you just let them do what they evolved to do and stop using every ounce of drinkable water like you're the only ones who need it.
Better yet, stop treating the lower two thirds of that state as if it was in an area of high rainfall...the bottom 2/3s of the state of California is a desert...treat it like one and respect the land you are on...or move further east where the annual rainfall is much higher and you can do as you want without damaging the environment where you live.
