I saw the Zolnixi and thought it looked familiar and then I checked and it was one I had sold! Its funny how one I no longer wanted is not part of a project.

It is strange how things work.
I realized I didn't like breeding projects but I do like 'coloring' but if I use the generator, I constantly head for the same few traits and species, so decided to buy and redye pets, because it means I have to work with what the pet has. I can't just say 'well, I love this trait, but I want this color to be X, so this trait has to go'. If a trait doesn't work, I have to figure out a color to MAKE that trait work.

Ah, that can be sad to see.
While I can't promise he won't be released in the future, I have no plans to release him now. In fact, he might get a mate sometime and I might occasionally breed a baby or two just to see what happens. (just need to get color theory via Sylestia down so I know what colors to make the mate to make nice looking babies)

At least he would have had somewhat of a purpose. It feels sad when your breeding projects get released.

Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't mind personally, but I can understand the frustration of other players who have projects that have taken a long time and then the fruits for their labors simply got released.
Good luck with other projects, if you are doing any, I have no self control, so may go on another buying spree before I get these dyed :D

Not sure if you'd like this dye possibility for the fourth qit down, but decided to play with his traits and liked this outcome XD

He's nice. I don't normally go for those colors (the brighter green really, the other colors, I definitely do go for :D), but if you really like the outcome, I can dye him and send him to you, if you want.
I already realized that I wouldn't be keeping all the pets that I dye, I just like the challenge. Qits are also one of the more plentiful species with 6 vis.
I do like him (the more I look the more I like him)

Haha, if you come up with something else, I won't be sad. I just like playing with fully traited pets sometimes just to see what looks good on traits I don't normally use together. However, if you do decide to dye him like that and don't end up wanting him, he would certainly be welcome in my stable ^.^

That is why I am doing this.
If I use the generator to do something like this, I am too tempted to simply change traits if a particular color doesn't seem to work on a particular trait. This makes it so I HAVE to use the particular traits the pet has, without changing them.
Okay, I will play around with the colors in the generator and see if anything strikes my fancy, but as I said, qits are relatively easy to come by so I could probably easily replace him if I don't.
