You can NEVER provide too much detail! I promise it always helps to provide details so that I don't stress worrying about something. Do you want a background or no?

Hey, so I struggled with the wing arms a bit because I forgot when I was doing the sketch and did normal arms. I tried to fix it but if you've got any suggestions then I'm more than happy to hear them. Did I get the details right? Is there anything else I need to add? By the way, the saber pokes our past the wings so it's not just the handle being held up but it kinda looks like a feather without the coloring but I know where it is since I drew it lol.

In case you want a time, this took 4 hours and 12 minutes. My app tells me how long I work on something and I always find it interesting to know how long a piece of art takes so I figured I'd tell you how long I've spent so far!

Honestly at this point, I'm cool with the arms staying like this. Wing arms are kind of a pain.
Maybe take the feathers off on the lower 'forearm' parts of the arm and give them the talon color like gloves. Idk how else to explain it.
Something like this would work as an example.


The pose otherwise looks good, but expression wise would it be possible to make him more stern and focused looking? He's a bit cuter than I'm after. XD

Also out of curiosity what app do you use to draw on your phone? Really curious how long I spend on my drawings now.

I use Ibis Paint X! It's the best free drawing program on mobile that I've tried, and I've tried so many. I think I know what you mean by the talon gloves. I'll fix the expression pronto, I'm just used to making things cute X3 I'll show you as soon as I fix the expression and I'm able to upload it to imgur so I can link it here!

I've heard of Ibis, just never got a chance to use it myself.
Been using Medibang Paint on my phone ever since my tablet bit the dust but I've been wanting a bit more heavy program since Medibang has some pretty limited brush options, I'll definitely give it a look over.
Nothing wrong with making things cute, just don't think something so cute could fly for this character, but it is a funny thought. XD

Sorry, bad pun. Ibis definitely has a learning curve but I used to use medibang and I was able to make the transition in about a month. I still sometimes find new features though and I've been using it for years! I had a cheap art tablet for about a week and it came busted but I worked with it until I couldn't stand it anymore and customer support was nonexistent. I don't even remember the brand now. Anyways, how's this expression? Do you want me to keep the smile or is more of a grimace good?

Depends on how the grimace looks, mind if I see it so I can decide?
