Starter: The Labyrinth is a feared place, full of monsters and tributes. No one has managed to escape the place. It is a good thing, though, that there are chosen tributes. With every tribute, the monsters are held off for a month longer. No one knows how the tributes are chosen, just that they are and there are two put in each month. You were chosen, and now, here you are, inside the Labyrinth, your fate sealed as the doors slam shut behind you.

"Why did I agree to come here? I'll most certainly die." She put her hand on her forehead.

The Labyrinth was dark, pitch black. A hiss came from your right and your left.

"Forward sounds like a good idea. Yep." She started running forward, hoping to not run into any monsters yet.

There was a sharp crack from where you had just been, and light flooded the Labyrinth for a few minutes.
In front of you was a wall.
To your left, was a passage. It was dark and there was a rotten stench coming from it.
To your right was another passage. It was also dark and there were muddled sounds emerging from it.
Behind you was the light and the only way in or out.

Nikkie, the kitsune that had entered the Labyrinth the same time as you trots after you, head swinging slowly from side to side, taking in the scents and the look of the place.

She sighed. "I think I'll go towards the stench." She hit one of her horns, checking for how sharp it was. Blood started to trickle on her hand. "Perfect. If anything happens, I might be able to get out."

"HALT!" Called a voice. It was hard to tell where it came from as all the sounds of the Labyrinth merged together to form a haunting cacophony of sounds.
An elf seems to emerge right in front of you. The elf held a... gun? "Please, I just want to talk." The elf says, arms shaking as they lowered their gun. It was obvious that the elf did not want to fire, but was prepared to if either Kua or Nikkie showed signs of agression.
The fur on Nikkie's neck stood on end as he glares suspiciously at the newcomer.
Hey, if there was an elf - had to have been there for a while - and they were alive, there was chances of you surviving for more than three days.

She looked at the elf for a second, and started toying with her metal-textured hair. This was a habit of hers that she did when she was nervous. "O-okay. Go ahead."

The elf raises her gun again, "Hand over your stuff and no one gets hurt." She says as if reciting something that someone had drilled into her. Her grey eyes were glazed over slightly, her black hair hanging in a loose and messy bun at the nape of her neck.

She looks.... hypnotized. This isn't of her own doing. What's going on here? She started to look the elf in her eyes. "Why should we?"

The elf's angelic features were twisted as she snarls, her mouth forming into a smirk. "Because I need to survive. Hand over the bags and I won't shoot." The elf snaps her fingers as if telling them to get a move on.

Nikkie stands at your side protectively, growling, hackles raising as he seemed to grow twice his origional size. It didn't seem as if he was going to hand anything over right then and there.
