I used to live in Japan for some time for work and I used to live in a mountain area that had tons of cherry and apple blossoms overlooking the sea.
Cherry, apple trees, and clear mountain peaks always remind me of spring for this reason, so I decided to use Lake Kawaguchiko this time around since it's famous for its view of Mt Fuji and its blooming cherry trees in spring.
