Hi Krin (sorry wasn't sure if we needed to ping you or not), I was wondering if you could clarify the "working with other players" part? I understand that two people can't submit the same valentine, but does this mean you could work with another player in creating one, provided only one of you submits it?

You must create and submit your own creation.

I understand you're very busy at the moment and that's fine. Was just wondering if you could clarify the questions I had regarding this contest that I posted in my first post on the first page. Was mainly wondering if any form of digital art would be accepted in this contest, or if there would be a separate contest set up for such type of artwork.

This contest is for traditional works, so digital isn't allowed. And this is the only one, so you will have to bust out the arts and crafts on this one. =)

Ok here we go!


Forgot to get images before I partly started! Baked a Betty Crocker moist devil chocolate cake mix up and left it to cool. Decided to make some cake ball bites!


Crumbed the cake and added some melted chocolate to help join before rolling into balls and chilling until firm.


Once firm I started decorating. One batch was covered in white chocolate with 100's and 1000's and the other batch was milk chocolate with crushed peanuts. Once coated, back in the fridge until the chocolate is set.


While waiting for the chocolate to set I created a Bulbori with a speech bubble in illustrator and printed it out.


Stuck the Bulbori cutout and speech bubble to the top of the container.


Added the cake ball bites to the container and ta-da! All done ^^
