Frankly, as long as you don't mess up my designs, I don't really care what you do to your own.

These will be the new official Themed Nytekrie designs once we finalize them.

However, at that point, players can opt to either update their existing Nytekrie to the updated color schemes or just keep their pets as they are now. It will entirely be up to them. =)

We are following the same process we followed with the Lupora.

I don't think the hummingbird nytes have any pink in them? Like if you look at the colours of a hummingbird nyte, there's green, blues and brown. Not pink. And perhaps the new image could have pink, but the old one definitely doesn't.

I'm a bit bummed that the proposed new Solar Eclipse feels extremely different with addition of multiple browns and overall color desaturation.

As an example, here is the old Solar Eclipse nyte:

It's really nice how fiery the old color palette used to look! With the current proposed themed palettes for the nytes, there is nothing quite like this. I'd love to see it return back to something more representative of the original, such as something like this:

Old >>>> New

As for Harvest Moon, I insanely love this version of what Scath posted:

You beautiful birb, youu.

I played with that theme in the gen for a long time and sooooo many combinations of traits display incredibly well together. <3

Flying Fox:

Proposed:

-I'm not a fan of the bright white, yellow, and orange colors, especially the pale yellow G2 color

My suggestions:

-Made Gene colors darker to add contrast
-Changed M1 and M3 colors to green to give a woodsy/forest feeling

decided to poke around at some of the designs

Dusky Dawn nyte, current:

our offering at least for some kind of consideration:

(mostly because the yellow+murky brown for the g1+a1 combos as they are is a bit... weird-looking to us?, and the wings are currently set to completely lose their purplish-blue
(adjusted EC, C2, G1, G2, A1)

First Sun:
vs
literally just a slightly lightened a1

Purple Spiderwort:
vs
some kind of adjustment so that G1 and G3 are different? (here we lightened G3 some)

Solar Eclipse:
Agreeing with Copeh- Not sure why the changes to make it duller/paler? All the other SEs have very strong orange/yellow/reds (and honestly, it's more impactful and bold with them)

voodoo master:
just seeing the best match we can get to the saved images we have of our own
vs
bit tricky, given how the traits work now. They're probably fine, but it's just strange to see them lose that strong sense of blue from the body? Probably because half of ours have mystic feathers which was previously blue-on-blue

for good measure, here's the random yuletide tree one that we did that's been lying around in our tab for months now, since the first nyte theme update thread:

(current proposition in the same traits:
)
(it was WORK to manage a brightish red and a green shade that didn't clash much, I'll tell you)

I've been looking at the Cranberry Crisp theme and I really like the overall colors, how they have been re arranged.

However, I miss that pastel pink color that used to be in G2 and M2.
It looks like its been replaced with a peachy color? I guess with the A1 color being a bright pink color, a more pale pink does give more contrast to the G2 slot.

I thought the design would look nice with 2 changes: pastel pink color in C3 and move the C3 color to M3 and lighten that a bit, that way the armors would have a more variation of color

Current

Suggestion
(Areas that would be affected are: beak, feet, front part of plaguebringer, armor ribbons, tribal cover, icy wings.)

another couple examples...
Current

Suggestion
(Areas affected are: forest antler tips, shawl tassle, stardust, flower petals, armor ribbons)

Where did you get the colourset you're using as the basis for the 'current' harvest moon nyte? Because that's... not an HM nyte. The G1/G2/G3/M2 are all completely wrong, not even close to a logical colourswing of the current/proposed version (and as such your proposed version is based on incorrect colours)

The 'original' version you have vs the version as of the previous thread (which is only one colour off the current unupdated version, which has purple m1 instead of black)
vs
(I have a post earlier in this thread with images of the pre-revamp hm nytes. The colours of an HM are black, orange-yellow, red-orange, and purple, no green at all. I can only guess yours is based off a dyed pb that had some of its blacks swing towards green, presumably descended from one that started off with a pretty extreme colourswing in those slots?)

Also you seem to be basing all your other changes off of the previous thread versions (first post's left-hand ones) rather than the new updated proposals that were made based on the feedback in the previous thread (first post's right-hand ones)?

The Hummingbird and Kingfisher nytes were called as such by their original designers. You'd have to hunt down who they are and ask them, and that's assuming that they a) remember, and b) actually had a specific species in mind rather than just the general idea of the genus as a whole

He seems to be one of literally three whole HM nytes with that very black colour set. Those three were the first three hm nytes ever caught, on their very first day of existence as a theme. One of the three was named 'glitch nyte' by their owner so I think probably the three of them are the result of something going wrong when krin was originally inputting the hm nyte colours and he just didn't notice (or at least manage to correct the error) until after those three were caught.
(okay, slightly more than just three, but it is very evidently not the intended or current colourset of the theme in question)
