I hope so too! I'll have my phone with me, but it's not very conducive to exploring festival zones. Dx And then there's school and homework on top of it all fffffffffff. Adult responsibilities why.

School and homework... don't remind me. Apparently I got it bad, resitting the first year of sixth form (Yr12). Apparently its the worst year of being at school, including Uni as school too.
If I wasn't doing my Art course for an extra year I would be so bogged down with art work; that I would be offline for at least a month xD
Anyway, hope you get better and hope your homework load decreases, hope mine does too ^^

This is my sixth year in college, and even though I'm only taking three classes I have the same amount of work as a full five-course class load! @__@ Silly me for thinking this semester would be easier! They're amazing classes and I'm glad I'm in them but wOAH SO MUCH READING.
At least being an English major means I'm a professional paper writer. :'D
And thank you so much~ <3 I'm hoping after February my life will be back to some semblance of normal. And here's a prayer that our workload goes down a little. xD

SNOW HAS COME TO THE MIDDLE OF ENGLAND
School closed due to snow :D
Anyway, I have wanted to be a maths teacher for 7 years roughly, but Im falling in love with art. I have always loved art but just before Christmas I had whats known as 'The penny dropped'. My drawing skills have turned amazing for no apparent reasons and I started looking into doing illustration courses at Uni.
The art worlds big but how do you earn money as an illustrator?
Im also self teaching myself digital art. I have downloaded a cool piece of software (MyPaint) which Im still working out, and hopefully my mum will by me a touchscreen + stylus at some point.
So Devient Art, how does it work? And how do you sell your digital drawings online?

oh man I love those Downfall Qitaris look, I'd totally buy a two vis one from you!
And I feel you, I'm a creative writing major so I'll also be a starving artist. :'D There's no money in the arts, but then again I know I'm not in it for the money. (I'll just be bagging groceries for people for forever, ahaha) I used to be a fine arts major at a different school but I'm not that talented and writing is my first love.
Tablets are amazing to work with when doing digital art! If you do get one I suggest a Bamboo or MonoPrice brand one. I've owned both over the years and both are great, where other off brands tend to not work as well. I'd love to see some of your work if you have a chance to post it! \o/

Actually there's tonnes of money in art... just not really that much in England compared to America. (Unless you live in London and put art work up in galleries)
There's:
Web designing, fashion designing, story board making, costume and make up artist (mainly for films), game desginers (digital or drawing the images on paper for the digital designers to create), freelance artist, logo/brand designing, book art (covers and/or the inside images) etc...
The majority of people are freelance or its just a hobby. One of the people Im sort of a fan of is Katy Lipscomb. Heres two of her websites:
