Our family loves Halloween! Every Halloween I have to pull out the Halloween CD's and play all the fun music... well, it is a whole lot easier now that I have them on a playlist! :)
This year my 4yr old grand daughter constantly asked to play and replay.... Purple People Eater!...... so adorable to hear her try to sing that one! So this little girl is my Purple People Eater!

Say hello to Chorna, Lady of Nightmares.
I based her off of fear, and with the theme of Halloween and the darkness autumn brings all too quickly, it's a great subject to go on. Her colors, black and red, are usually the most commonly associated with fear, injury, darkness. The blue, despite being a nuisance of the way Ryories sport black, is actually perfect in this case. The blue instilled that fears are often first created within the mind, in the subconscious. The hazy blue also represents sleep, the place where you fears can really take hold of you; in nightmares.

kay, heres hopes for this to work...
anyway, this is my very own design of a PineCone Ryori
the inspiration came from (bet you couldn't guess!) ripe & drying Pinecones against green pine needles. this is because i thought of doing an evergreen, but i was thinking that would be a lot of green, so i did what goes on an evergreen (and turns brown in the fall) a pinecone! so yeah, that's pretty much it...
so pretty much it's a pinecone against pine needles.

The Blood Moon Ryori
Mutation: Galaxy Genes: Kitsune and Star Runes
This Blood Moon Ryori is inspired by the blood moon I saw with my family a month or two ago. (Not 100% sure)
