The sweet, tiny, catlike Sylesti looked up at the wall of the lab she was being kept in. She didn't quite understand what had happened, all she remembered was being taken from her mother and brought here. As a human entered, she growled and bit him with needle-sharp teeth. He yelped and smacked her sharply with his hand.

The cold, grasping, clawing fingers of the undead showed the Sylesti pure terror as his mothers once beautiful smile, was no longer there. Only the boney remains of a long gone animal stood proudly at the doorstep, getting him prepared for the horrors inside.

(dunno how that is sweet, tiny, and catlike, but whatever....)


The angry Sylesti pawed at the cage it was being kept in. It wasn't fair. Humans should not have had all the power.

Those who survived the volcano's eruption told of a great winged creature that had burst from the exploding volcano. They said it had been wreathed in fire and shadow, and that it had brought death.

He tore away from the fire chasing him as his tail lit. He could not outrun this flame. He attempted to lift off the ground but found his flight feathers had singed. His coat, once a beautiful violet, had turned the color of ash. He was running out of time. His once luscious mane and tail were alight. He was being burned alive...

Booming footsteps echoed through the hallway as he drew near. I was stricken with pure terror. Without even thinking, I dove behind a curtain as he entered the room. I moved it over cautiously, Trying to get a glimpse of the monster. My adversary was utterly hideous, appearing as more of a rotting amalgamation than an animal. His flesh was barely clinging to his pulsating body and moldy blisters coated him like armor. He looked and moved as if he were a zombie, slowly shuffling his decaying grey body towards me. Soon, we were eye to eye, with his acidic saliva dripping onto my face.

Sorry if that was kinda morbid

She jumped as high as her legs would allow to see over the fence. Sadly, she wasn't able to see much in the darkness but still kept jumping anyways. After all, she was only able to escape from her cage at night so she had to take it all in while she could. Her soft white fur floating in the air each time as she watched the light blue flowers sway in the wind beyond the fence.

The sylesti aroused itself, it's bright green eyes gleaming through its helmet. After having just lost a battle for its egg, the sylesti took off after the culprit, leaving neon green and black feathers in its wake.
