That flumine is one of the prettiest I've ever seen so far. I can't take my eyes off it.
Thanks! :)

Hadera of the Deep
Lurking far, far below the ocean's surface, so far down that sunlight is a myth, lives a colony of Kelpari. These special creatures hold their own form of bioluminescence that helps them find each other in the darkness. Rarely do these deep-dwellers appear on the surface, but when they do, it is magical. The lights on the water as the Kelpari dance and play under the stars is fantastic. It was a night I will never forget.
The ocean was strangely calm and I was on night watch on the ship when the waves exploded in a flurry of fins and light. Mesmerized by the strange and wonderful creatures, I watched as one transfixed by a spell. The dance was elegant and the song lovely, but as I watched, one of the younger Kelpari got a little too close to our fishing net. She was trapped and the others had not yet noticed. I jumped in to free the creature and was successful, but her thrashing had carried us both away from the ship and I always thought that is was unlucky for a sailor to know how to swim. Fortunately, she repaid my favor and brought me back to safety as well.
Bound together by our mutual good will, Hadera and I still meet up on dark nights on the ocean.

Amphitrite
This is Amphitrite, partner in "crime" to Ariel the daughter of Triton. (Yes from the Disney movie, it was my all time favorite when I was younger, and I still really like the story). Amphitrite and Ariel love to go exploring, to see every corner of the seas and learn all there is to learn about the world out of the water.
Amphitrite is wild spirited and free. She travels where Ariel cannot go (read: on land). She has a bit of a mischievous side, where she likes to play tricks on the mermaids. There is only one person she listens to absolutely and that is King Triton. After all he is the ruler of the seven seas.
[This design is heavily inspired by the look that Ariel sports]

Elora, Queen of Curses
Elora, possessed by the majesty of foul deeds and fouler thoughts, wanders the oceans in search of those whom can receive her tainted blessing. Drownings, shipwrecks, spoiled food, and disease follow in her dark wake. Through some strange mishap, a thinning of the veil between the elemental plane of Dark and a concentration of misery, Elora was changed to her very core. Nigh as ethereal as the Ryori, she is no longer bound to the whims of the tides and goes wherever her corrupt and chaotic aura is needed.

Altessa, Nebula's Guardian
She was the chosen one. Chosen to guard the stars in the sky. In her wings, she held the galaxies, and around her neck she wore the moon. Every star that fell, fell from her grasp, but she was very careful. Only when the burden grew too heavy for her to hold did she let those stars fall, and the people below would gather together to watch in solemn awe, unable to comprehend the beauty of her sacrifice. Someone, something, must hold the star's in their places. And Altessa, Nebula's Guardian, was the one chosen for this honor.
