Riverstar Snailkit nodded awkwardly, trying to stand straight. Badgerkit pinned his ears back, "What a meanie! We only wanted to play." he stood beside his sister, supporting her, "Come on Snailkit! I can be Badgerstar and you can be Snailfang, we can be warriors together and lead a clan!"

I sigh at Badgerkit's antics. "Okay, we're going on an adventure, fine? Now, we need to get to somewhere safer." I reason, eyes stuck on the remaining sparks near the tree.

Badgerkit dashed forward towards the swamp, forgetting about his dead mother. Snailkit stumbled after him, falling after a few steps.
