Is it intentional for the Female to be slightly bigger than the male?? ._.
Sizing is not finalized until the very end.

Oh, ok, was just curious, cause so far the female is bigger than the male with these sketches, but that's also how the current Luporas are too, I wondered if maybe it was based off of an animal where the female is actually larger.

Because we work in a square canvas, sometimes a gender, or entire species, can appear larger because we have to keep everything sized down to a square. It actually has the reverse implication where you can think of it moreso as it's small and being magnified to fill the square.
We have been trying to correct this with revamps and new species though as we'd prefer things to be a bit more normalized - gender size differences aside.
So it's possible the original artwork... the male was in essence larger than the female, but had to be scaled down to fit inside the actual square. Or - it was just an oversight. I honestly can't remember that far back. =P We also didn't really focus on resizing artwork back then and kinda just went w/ how the artist finalized it. Luffox are a great example of this lol. Freaking giant little critters on the map.
But, yea, we don't bother with getting everything all sized up until the artwork is 100% finished where we know where mutations and stuff ended up. And then I'll adjust and normalize the sizes as best as I can prior to uploading the actual artwork.

I love the new look! Just a few things though.
Maybe make the male look a bit more dominant, because it looks like the female is the 'alpha.'
I feel like the tails on the adults will cover up genes.
Something isn't quite right about the muzzles and legs. Maybe make those wider. The male's needs to be longer too.
I would make the female look more... female I guess.
Maybe make the ears a little smaller.
Just some constructive criticism. I do love the hatchlings. They are so playful looking!

I agree the male needs to look more dominant and self confident.

I absolutely love them. I can only think of one thing that could make them better. She looks stronger and it looks kind of like the male is bowing for her. I think it would look better if he held his head up and stood taller.

The male hatchling looks like a wolf, a little bit too 'wild', I guess. The male grown-up looks like it's admitting defeat...
Doesn't match too well.
