The reaper stepped in front of her, shaking her head. She wasn't going to let you past or move off the rooftop, a pentagon you were on. After a bit, she said, "Your time starts now" and you ended up in a park. it was empty and night time, a sand pit, swings and monkey bars. There were climbing places, slides and places to sit on benches. Trees grew, some young and new, others old and gnarly. No one was around, it was silent.

(You'll find him if you look hard enough in the right places. The images do mean something.. so does personality. Think about where Ben could be.)

There were skyscapers and normal buildings either side of the bridge, although one side seemed to be more residental the other more cafes, shops and business places. Which way would you like to go?

(I repost. I looked at my answer and apparently there's no ping again. Weird, I'm sure I've checked this time. I think ping do not always work when I use quote with my tablet. Sorry.)

You couldn't memorise your area and keep up with the reaper, she was already gaining ground and you'd almost lost her. What would you like to do?

I stoped, realizing I was not sure to be able to follow. If I continued to run after her, I could get lost in the middle of that big city, which would give me less chances to find my master. Since I am still on high rooftop, I look around the city, to check if I can see more places or things which look peculiar, especially places where a famous mage could hide. Is there any? Do I still see the smoke?

(probably a garden or park)

"he's probably on the less Cityscapish-ish side" i exclaimed softly.I decided to walk to the side without skyscrapers

The hunt was on. Astraeus knew this as a subconsciousness flickered to life in the back of her head. She dismissed the small event with the reaper and focused on the task at hand. She was here, and she had a job to do. She observed her surroundings with some sort of predatory gaze, expecting to see a city or at least buildings, since she was in the middle of a park. Beginning to walk slowly and quietly, Astraeus sank into thought, her mind working quickly in circles. Where would her target be now? It was nighttime, when the things came out to play.

The smog was something that came with any big city. You could see trees, houses, neon lights, cars, bridges, skyscrapers in all different shapes and sizes. You couldn't make out specifically any names of shops, cafes and buisnesses. If you'd like to name something you're specifically looking for you can.

There were still skyscrapers on the other side, it was just more residential skyscrapers and buildings. Unless you want to walk off the bridge, of course. Then there's no skyscrapers in the water. You went over to the residential place and saw houses, it was still night time and most didn't have lights on and had the curtains drawn. What are you looking for specifically (so i don't need to list everything) or what would you like to do?

There was a large city surrounding the park, along with buildings. There was a slight fog on the air, smelling of smog. Probably produced by the thousands living here. You couldn't sense any spirits around you, meaning the only one who was a danger was assassin.

I did not remember how much smoke there was around new cities. In the time I was alive, the cities were very different, not so high, not so luminous, not so noisy, and the only smoke we could see was coming from fires.
I am thinking about what I know about my master. Famous, who stay hidden... I look for something that could be liked with nobility or royalty, maybe some kind of castle or large residence.

(I'm not entirely sure if our character knows the appareance of their masters, I based it on what you said to Dragongem, correct me I'm wrong)

There were no castles, but you could see three extravagant houses in each direction, two were near the river, the other was high up on a hill.

(Your character won't know, but the player will ^^ Just so you don't explore the whole city)
