It bares its teeth even as its head slumps back to the ground again. It lets out a whimper, which it quickly cuts short. Suspicion and well hidden fear fill its eyes and it lets out a gargling hiss. It doesn't sound good, but the Wyvern's fear seems to be overwhelming it.

Nicote pullsout a few of the berries. "Im not going to burtypi......" he pushes the berries towards thecreature, hipefully if the creatuee sees him not as a theeat he wont get bitten.

Skywhisper chirrups, lifting his wings from his sides so that you can put a parcel on his back.

The Wyvern moans in pain, not accepting the berries.

You realise that Balthur has come up behind you. "Some people just don't look where they're going," he says. "It isn't going to want those berries, son. It's in pain, so give it a pain killing solution. I have a healing pack in the cart, go back and fetch it will you? The little vial that says 'Soothing Oil' should do the trick, just dab a little into his wounds. It should disinfect them, too."

You dash to the back of the cart and lift up the tarpaulin. In the cart you see several crates and other objects, but you focus on the casket with an engraving of a winged staff with two snakes coiled round it, the symbol for healing.

You rummage about inside it until you find the vial Balthur spoke of. You grab it and start back to the creature, before thinking again and snatching the entire casket.

The Centaur watches over your shoulder as you gently soak a cloth and dab it to the Wyvern's wounds. It hisses loudly, before quieting down. You do this to all of the hoofprint wounds you see.

The Wyvern shuffles its wings, slowly rolling onto its belly and lifting its head to look at what you've done. It huffs, seemingly content, before standing.

On its own two feet, it almost doubles in size. How it got ran over by the messenger horse is a mystery. Perhaps it was sunning itself on the sun-backed cobbles of the road.

It huffs again, looking at you. "Nice lizard," Balthur says softly, pawing at the ground.

"....Luzard? Pretty sure its a wyvern.....thoguh how a cart can run over it is a mystery. But if i find whoever did this and left this poor thing on the side of the road loke that...."
