"But- okay." Nikkie gives in. He looks worn and beaten for a few moments before what ever controls him comes back in power.
"Hm, this one is getting easier and easier to control. Sweet!" Not-Nikkie chortles.

The path splits in front of you.
The left - more runes.
The right - silent as a grave.

"Let's go to the right. This ghost seems to love the runes, so if we go away from the runes he might weaken. Just remember to keep fighting him, okay?"

The ghost thing heads towards the rune hall before pausing when you say that and turning to the other one. "Come on. You're no fun." Not-Nikkie says, heading down the right path. "Doesn't this place give you the chills? I sort of like it, though. 'Course, I have to since this is my kingdom, but no matter."
Not-Nikkie slips down the hall, twirling at random intervals, "Lalalalalaaaaaaaa. Stop looking so downhearted. Turn the frown, upside down! Like this." Not-Nikkie does a hand stand, the frown turning upside down as he did.
Nikkei takes control again and immediately collapses. "Ow, my arm." He curses, holding his arm, which was at a weird angle now. " What is this ghost making me do?! "

She started to laugh. "He's making you do gymnastics. It's hilarious. And calling me no fun but I don't care because I am not fun."

Nikkie laughs as well. "That does sound hilarious. I just be really terrible at it. Glad you could get a laugh out of that." He says with a grin. He gets up and brushes himself off.

you find yourself at a dead end.

"Dang this labyrinth! I guess we have to go back and go with the runes." She sounded exasperated, disappointed, and concerned all in one.

"Hey, it's not too bad. We just ruled off one of many other paths in the Labyrinth!" Nikkie says, trying to comfort you. He awkwardly pays your shoulder, clearly unsure how to cheer someone up. He seems to be uneffected by the ghost that had just been haunting him a moment ago.
A green ball appears next to him. "Ah, shoot. Now I just have to get someone to touch one of those rune again..." and the light buzzer off, shouting a dry threat at you and Nikkie.
Nikkie chuckles nervously, "How about we don't touch any more runes..."
The dead end shifts and opens up three different paths.

Forward - looks like the path you've been continuing on so far.
Left - leads to a door
Right - has runes lining it.

"What do you think could be behind the door?" She walked towards the left, preparing to open the door.

"Lots of things! Skeletons, spiders, snakes, seagulls, surprises, solid walls, somethings, stones, and much more cause that was just the s's." Nikkie says cheerfully, silently urging you to open the door.

"Why did you start with the s's? Who starts with the s's?" She turned the knob.
