Noticing Spork, Knight emits a low snarl. Balthur, catching onto the situation, hisses: "Quiet, now. He's with us." Then, eyes widening, he looks at you. "The orc is with us, right?"
Spork nods. "The keys stay with chief of clan. At night, now, he sleep in wagon and 'hide' them underneath pillow." He grins, but there's no humour behind it.
Balthur's face blanches at that. "Is there any other way to get us all out of here alive?"
The orc shakes his head somberly. "No other way. Believe me, I know."
The centaur turns to you again. "Look, Nicote... thank you for coming so far for us. But, uh... I'll understand if you don't want to risk it and go ahead with this."
"Told you already, i got npthing to lose. My dignitybdisappeared years ago." Nicote shrygs. "Besides, if hypothetically a comotion happened on the other side of camp theres a chance the cheif might go investigate and we can nab it."
You're a little tired and out of practice in being stealthy to go quite as subtly as you'd intended. Stealth unsuccessful
"It sounded like Numbat," Crimson whispers as she pads by your side.
As you carefully approach the location of the scream, the sound of a pair of running feet meets your ears. Numbat speeds around the next bend in the road, heading for the camp.
In his absolute terror, he shouts at the pair of you as he passes, not stopping: "We need to g-get away from here!!"
Something has either spooked him, or is after him - you can't tell.
"Crimson run back to camp and warn the others we'll be right behind you," Asteria runs after Numbat, "What's going on Numbat? Who or what is after you?"
Asteria knew after this she'd have to work on her stealth skills as well as archery and more.

Spork holds up a hand. "Even if he bothers to get up, he take key with him. Then we have him - and keys - in middle of group of alert warriors. Unless that part of plan..?"
"I would definitely say that the element of surprise is our best asset here," Balthur muses. "In my time imprisoned here, I've learned that this clan has plenty of bored, aggressive orcs in its ranks. If there's even a hint of an intruder for them to hunt down, they are going to pounce on the chance for something to do."

She nods, stumbling over her paws in her haste to get moving.
Numbat slows enough to grab your arm, trying to tug you back to camp as well. "There are-" he cuts his high-pitched wail to hush his tone, "there are southern tribes here! That is bad, bad news. We have to go."
There haven't been tribes of orcs this far north since the ancient Anaian wars. On the other hand, there certainly aren't orc warriors running after him right now - besides Numbat's panicking, the mountains around you are still eerily quiet. What has given him this idea is unclear.

Asteria was thoughly tempted to see if Numbat was running a fever but restrainted herself. Instead she says quietly, "Numbat I believe you but do you have any proof? If we bring this to the council they won't belive us without proof."
She rushes back to camp to get everyone moving.
"Good!" Bob grins as he waves you off, turning back to his work.
Skywhisper chirrups, grimacing as he adjusts the rope. "Ehh... this rubs against my feathers in all the wrong ways. But I'll deal with it."
He starts off at a trot, wagon loudly bouncing along the cobbles behind him. "Let's go and get this seed business over with!" he says cheerily.
"Finally," I add to his last remark, as I begin to walk with him back to Balthur's place to load the seeds. "Is there any way I can fix the rope? I don't want it to be annoying when we load all the seeds in, it might be twice as irritating then."

Nicote ftowns, thinking. Really hes wishing he could go back in time and kick himself for being too stubborn to read amything useful. Improving is not going to work here most likely.
"Element of surprise.....i kind of doubt i could sneak into the leader's sleeping area without being caught, but that might be our main option since amy other would eamn we're dead or near dead."

"T-there's... further up the pass, there's been some kind of fight," he's calming down a little now. "I... didn't stop to bring some proof though."
Back at the camp, a winded Crimson shoots a disgusted glare at Numbat. "You're telling me we're getting all worked up for nothing? There's no-one there?"
The other three familiars turn from looking panicked to equally as irritated at having their rest interrupted.

"Nah, don't worry about it," he waves you away.
You arrive back to Balthur's storage building with the impatient looking Centaur still standing outside.
"Ah! You made it," he says upon seeing you both, impatience disappearing and a friendly smile replacing it. "Here, I'll help you load the seeds. I've got to lock up the place and get moving soon."
He moves to pick up one side of the first bag, waiting for you to take the other.

"Not a lot of great options," Balthur frowns. "Sorry, I can't think of anything else."
Knight doesn't look very creative either.
Spork gives you a hearty pat on the back. "I be with you, you be fine. I have a score to settle here."
