Brook spins quickly, looking in the same direction as the thing that just scared her. As she stares, wide-eyed, Blaze appears.
"I haven't finished my challenge, oh fearless leader!" he mocked.
Brook backed up further. "Blaze, this won't get you anything! Please, stop... Why are you doing this?"
"Why? Why?? Well, I'll tell you why! You've been favoring Cirrus. Air and Water, Water and Air, you two were inseparable! And inSUFFERABLE. I'm tired of being treated like a tool for use only in battle! It's time someone stepped in and took this burden you OBVIOUSLY can't handle off your shoulders. So, finish the challenge, Brook! Finish it!!" Blaze lunges for Brook, claws outstretched and fur ablaze.

Kody's eyes widen and before he can control it a beam of lava and lightning come shooting out aimed right at Blaze.

Blaze lands directly before Brook and turns towards Kody. The attack hits him directly in the side... but he is unscathed. "Oh, little uneducated one, don't you know that fire can't hurt fire?" he turns to the still terrified Brook and adds, "Although, obviously, opposing elements can definitely harm one another. Oh wait, I guess Water can't harm Fire, because it can't hit us!" his laugh sounds more like an evil cackle.

"You know most friends protect each other not fight each other and cause harm to one another. Besides I have other forms I can shift into if I really want to hurt you, but that's not why I'm here." he replies casually walking towards them since he already gave himself away anyway.

Brook keeps her eyes locked on Blaze, but she obviously sees Kody out of the corner of her eye.
"You think you can force us to help that weakling Andes free his girlfriend, don't you?" he says 'girlfriend' condescendingly, proving they aren't actually together, "They're both weak, they're ALL WEAK. I, on the other paw, am strong. Stronger than you," --he turned back to Brook-- "stronger than you," --and back to Kody-- "I'm stronger than all of you put together!"
'What's going on? Is anything interesting happening? I might be able to enlighten you on some history,' comes my voice, interrupting Blaze mid-rant.
While Blaze was focused on Kody, Brook began to creep away.

"Brook if your smart you'll stay where you are. If you leave he'll hunt you down. All he cares about is being on top... the leader." he looks at Brook then responds to you, "Now isn't the best time but it might help so go ahead."

"If I'm smart I'll know when it's time to reveal the trick," Brook shot back. She stepped forward, a sly grin spread across her face. As quick as his eyes could detect it, Kody was within a ring of fire and water. A "man, we really got him!" from Brook and an "Are you sure I didn't burn you too badly?" from Blaze could be heard.
"Nah, I'm fine," Brook replied, "Plus, at least we won't have this little irritation on our tails now."
Finally, my response came, 'Brook and Blaze are known to pull pranks together. They'll pretend to be mortal enemies, then turn on whoever's trying to break them up. I wrote about this happening once, they let her go after they had some 'fun' with her. Sometimes they seem a bit evil. Truthfully, they are. Cirrus and Andes are good wolves, they just follow the wrong leaders sometimes. They don't understand when it's okay to follow Blaze and Brook's lead and when they're wrong. Generally they're all pretty good, though. Was that helpful at all?'

"Well to late now." he replied to you, then to himself, "Better shift into something that can take down both water and- wait a minute I know what I need..." his form became a shadow.

Blaze and Brook's chattering silences and Kody hears, "We know you just shifted in there!" from Brook.
From me, you hear, 'Oh, one last thing, I wrote one short story with all of the four and a shifter like us! So be careful, they have experience!'

"Oh, come on." he sighed exasperated.
