This design was based off pink and purple flowers as they mean grace, elegance and dignity. I feel like these themes relate to Spring as spring is when the elegant cherry blossoms bloom, and it is also when new animals are born and with that I wold like to display the theme dignity the mother would be feeling, and I would also like to portray the clumsy babies which, although barely able to stand up now, will later become graceful entities living their lives as the animals before them did.

Serene Magnolia Aeridini

I based this lovely lady after my state flower, the Magnolia because it happens to be one of my favorite flowers. x3

Stargazer Aeridini

Inspired by one of the few plants that blooms throughout Spring, despite the hotter temperatures :P

Inspiration: When I was younger, I had a bright blue dress with frogs (which I knew as abe) which I wore to church nearly every week during the spring (hence the blue and green colours). Later in the season, the post-church potluck began to include watermelon (hence the pink and darker green).

Here is my lovely Aeridini. I call the design Celestial Indigo. The concept is based off of two things. The funky coloured, glowing flowers in Avatar, and the Indigo Bunting, a bird that migrates through my area in spring.

So this is my Fruitdini because Spring makes me think of growing plants. She is based on: Green grapes, pineapple, raspberries, blueberries, and honeydew.

Inspired by the black swallow tail butterfly image I found. Also it's my favorite butterfly x3 <3
