Whoops, almost forgot about this, i'd better whip something up asap

Hi, just dropping by to say I'm quitting. Due to exhaustion and a variety of other reasons I'll be taking a small break from sylestia. It was fun but my brain is demanding r&r so what can I do ;P Thanks for the contest and good luck to all the remaining contestants.

Sooo....it was tough finding the right held-item: the set colors of these items made everything a bit harder^^"
but well....
For the talismans I tried to use the wings as the dreamcatcher and the held-item as resemblance for the feathers....^^

Hello =3 even though I apparently suck at designing I decided to give it a shot anyway =P

So for me, dreamcatcher scream native american, and I thought it would fit well with the overall colour scheme.....
And so here comes my design :



I kinda wanted her to feel a bit shaman-y because of the dreamcatcher and the pet ( a totem ?) And I wanted to keep it simple, because the pet design is simple =P

Since you're quitting but have eight points, you can claim a small prize if you wish.

I meant to judge sooner and I almost posted but then maintenance happened. Sooo... Re-judging I guess.

Creativity- I like the way you used the hair to express the avatar 4/5

Avatar Items- I don't get the held but I think everything was put together nicely, nothing clashes. 4/5

Overall- I think you didn't display any white, which is one of the main colors of the pet. That really just threw me off in the end. 4/5

Total- 12/15

Very interesting idea you've got there.

Creativity- I like the use of the owl as feathers for the dreamcatcher, a very unique idea. 5/5

Avatar Items- The ears are spot on! However, the tail is completely wrong, with the color and I would've liked to see some markings. The owl feathers match to the dreamcatcher feathers and the avatar outfit looks and represents the wildness of the Zolnixi. I like the eyebrows, too and there isn't a white version, huh? 4/5

Overall- That tail is just too noticeable to me. What happened there? You had the usage of a dapple tail for markings but even so, that brown doesn't match her tail at all. 3/5

Creativity- I like the way you represented the dreamcatcher and feathers on the Zolnixi, something I wouldn't have thought. 5/5

Avatar Items- Unfortunately, there isn't really any white in this outfit. I mean, look at the Zolnixi. Approximately half of her is white and the only white thing you have for her is the boots, which isn't really a good representation of her. 3/5

Overall- The avatar is pretty great it just could've used a bit more white. 4/5

Creativity- I do like the idea of making a dreamcatcher Native American to represent the Zolnixi. 5/5

Avatar Items- I don't see a tail or ears, which put me at a loss. This is creating an avatar that is basically what the pet would be if it turned human, but what I saw was a human that could possibly be it's owner. Have you ever heard of Nekos? Think that next time. 2/5

Overall- Again, next time maybe you should add ears and a tail to make it actually the Zolnixi. Colorwise, I don't see where the red came in and I don't see why it came in. I get the point of the shaman staff but why the eye color and the feathers on the dress? On a lesser note, the orange is a bit to light and bright to match the Zolnixi's. 3/5

O.o For me it wasn't necessarily the pet turned human however. The theme was design an avatar, based on a pet. For me, it was like the avatar and pet were together, not the one turn into another....
