Thanks for inviting me. Here's my short writing to the prompt.
Thump. The sound resonated from the corner of my room.
Bloody hell! I groaned and pulled the quilt over my face, trying to ignore it. It had been going on for a few hours. At first, I didn't mind too much, considering I was contentedly playing video-games. My first reaction was to put my headphones in and then hope that the noise would stop. That didn't really work when it came time for me to sleep, though.
Thump. Thump. THUMP. It was coming from my bar-fridge.
"Go away!" I snarled. Like that's going to help. If only I was a little braver, I'd be able to do something about it. What could possibly be in there, anyway?
Suddenly, an ominous wailing noise erupted from the fridge and I heard the door slam open. I froze in panic. This is it. I'm actually going to die from something in the fridge. I braced for the end. Nothing happened.
I nervously peeked out from my quilts and saw a moldy half-eaten burrito hovering over me with maliciously glowing eyes.
"EAT ME!" It wailed like a cat as its eyes locked onto mine. Suddenly I remembered. Two weeks ago: Midnight hunger. Dodgy fast-food shop. Under-cooked chicken. Sentient food. Sentient food?
"NO!" I yelped in terror. "You're horrible! You poisoned me!" Oh, why did I put it back in the fridge instead of the bin?
"DON'T INSULT ME!" It growled. "WE WERE GOING TO BE FRIENDS! HOW COULD YOU BETRAY ME LIKE THIS?!"
"No! Go away! I just want to sleep!" I pleaded.
"OH, really?" The burrito huffed. "You kept me in the fridge for TWO WEEKS! How selfish! Now I've got all this green fur on me. It's gross."
"Uh, I- I'm sorry." I stammered in shock.
"Nup! Sorry just doesn't cut it. I'm done!" The burrito huffed. "Goodbye." Suddenly he vanished into thin air.
I never saw him again.
Edit: The apostrophes and quotation marks didn't copy across properly. I think I've fixed it all.

I'm glad you liked it.
