Second post.
The "Devil's Night Nephini"
My Qitari design was more work than any other two designs put together! Here's why I came up with it. With Themed pets, most players are disappointed anytime the finally get their hands on one...and then discover the pet has some kind of Rainbow trait. There are exceptions, but I have heard quite a few players complain about getting a Rainbow trait on a Themed pet, because the rainbow colors and the Theme generally don't go together well. Qitaries have it the worst of the pets that I collect, because they can end up with Rainbow Mane, or Rainbow Scales, or Iridescent Scales (sort of pale, shimmery rainbow scales). Since these traits are in three different slots, that's three chances for the Themed pet to have a trait that clashes with its Theme.
Therefore, I decided to design a Qitari Theme that looks really good with any Rainbow trait. Of course, the Theme also had to look good without having one of the three rainbow traits. It was time-consuming, but I believe I have succeeded. The acid test, of course, is that I totally want one of these!
At this point, somebody reading this is wondering what this Theme could possibly have to do with autumn. Well, autumn is the season when, traditionally, the separation between living and dead is at its weakest. Samhain, Halloween, the Day of the Dead, and All Souls' Day all occur in autumn. The general idea is that souls of the dead can, at this special time, slip back across (or at least look across) that which separates them from the living, be it a veil, a line, a gate...or a rainbow bridge.
Most pet owners are familiar with the Rainbow Bridge concept; it is the place where the souls of pets stop and wait for their people. Since Sylesties are also called pets, I had my connection to the Fall Festival. And here it is--the "Rainbow Bridge Qitari"--
Please feel free to "play" with this design. I believe that every possible trait combination, with or without an actual rainbow-type trait, has its colors working well together.
The "Coulrophobia Ryori"--
The "Frosted Leaves Sylvorpa" should need no explanation--
In the deep South, autumn means it's time for the County Fair. The fun begins at dusk. Strings and strings of lights, carnies at booths, bolted-together fairground rides, including the Ferris Wheel (which the big kids monopolize), the haunted house, the displays of local produce and crafts inside flimsy canvas tents...all these things inspired the "County Fair Vulnyx"--
"Remember, remember, the Fifth of November..." For some reason I am on a British kick with these designs. Presenting the "Guy Fox Night Zolnixi"!
The Theme name is of course a play on "Guy Fawkes' Night," also called "Bonfire Night." The design came from my realization that we don't have a red-based Zolnixi theme. I also want these.

Your Black Friday Nixi is teh awesome, Bella, but I don't understand why the blue. The meanings of the rest of the colors are pretty obvious, but why blue, and why that shade? Other than it looks good, I mean.

I was trying to go for cyber circuits (neon blue, green, and gold), since one of the major things about Black Friday is the electronics sales.
