Autumn Sprite


As the summer fades into fall the Autumn Sprite begins to stir. Through out the year she patiently waits for the leaves to change and the wind to chill. When the first leaf pile is formed she awakens to pounce with joyful glee. This is not meant to be taken in a bad way but more as a reminder to revisit the fun of younger years. Enjoy what each season brings...especially the fall with its beautiful colors and crunchy leaves.

The inspiration is Fall Leaves and trees.

I have based this design off of the fall colors found in the trees. This Ryori is simple but elegant and highlights the beauty of the warmth you can find in the forest during sweater weather.

Rebirth




My inspiration:



Just as leaves drop from trees, the petals of a rose will wither and fall away. She's named Rebirth because even though everything dies in the fall, it all comes back in the spring even more beautiful than before.

Haunted Autumn Spirit
I imagined a ghost that lurked in the woods during Mischief Night (the night before Halloween), searching for its lost love.

When the leaves start to change colors on the trees, they are rather bright. To me, it signifies the ending of summer and the approach of fall, but it is not yet fall or is very early into fall.

Once the leaves die and fall from the trees, their colors darken as they lay upon the ground and begin to rot. To me, this signifies the full effect of fall as winter approaches.

Autumn; The Year's Last, Beautiful Smile
Autumn is my favorite season. The beautiful, dappling leaves of vivid, fiery colors, so ethereal it was as if painted, that overlap on the ground and the trees. It shows that even wonderful things don't last forever.
