She steps forward, and her bushy tail begins to sway from side to side. After a couple moments, she then leans her head into your hand. She looks up at you again. Maximus scratches the floor lightly, seemingly anxious to get going.
What do you do?

As you swim closer, a weird feeling begins to spread through you. Your chest feels tighter the closer you get to it. It's also getting darker. And foggier; harder to see by the second. By now, not a sign of life exists. As you keep swimming, your foot hits something sticking up from the lake floor.
What do you do?

I look to see what it is

He trembles slightly. He looks at you then the hole.
"Ar-are you sure this is a good idea?!?!"
He sighs and agrees to go, but under the condition of you going first. It may be dark soon, so you could rest before going down.

What do you do?

I decide to rest first, then go down. Sleeping here for the night might be a better idea.

The stairs creak as you head down, they shake slightly too. With both you and the sylesti, you fear that it may crumble beneath your feet. The stairs go out onto a ledge, kind of like a look out. Across the forest, you can see a small village. As you stand there, the wood groans, then it breaks. There is only one plank of wood that keeps you from falling.

What do you do?
