Inca didn't stop, she kept on climbing further and further up the rocky mountain paths, where it was becoming increasingly dangerous: one wrong slip of the hoof and either you, her or both of you would go tumbling into oblivion. She showed no signs of slowing down and her hooves were leaving scorch marks on the ground behind, a trail in a way. She was obviously ignoring you for now.

As you turned another corner down a steep slope, having to lean back a lot to avoid slipping off, the same white stallion and Prince Sage from before halted in the rocky clearing ahead of you as the mare. Desperate to stop, the mare pulled into a sliding halt, slipping precariously down the mountain and stumbling at the bottom, falling down onto her side.

I landed a few feet away from Incandescent, and was completely winded, my right arm and leg throbbing with pain due to my awkward landing, and the rest of my body ached. I stood up as quickly as I could, running over to incandescent's side. "Inca! are you okay?" I ask, rushing to my horse's side, putting a hand on the side that was facing up.

I quickly looked up and over at prince Sage and his horse. I should run away while I still can I thought, before turning back to Inca, two more thoughts rushing into my head I can't abandon her and I can't escape without her I shook away the second thought, simply focusing on the fact that Inca helped me too much for me to leave her here

Inca didn't seem injured, and stood up on her hooves again easily, glaring at Prince Sage, who calmly dismounted his own stallion, the stallion looked over at the mare, but made no movement or challenge. Inca in response seemed angered by this, as if wanted to fight. She gave a loud neigh and reared up, moving forward while stamping her hoof violently, also trying to get away from your touches.

Prince Sage frowned as he approached, a royal air around him, "I know you stole the mare." he said calmly, "Why I will not ask, Amaranthe. However, you will need to return it as you requested for us to get you home safely." he sighed, "You've caused a lot of damage to property, which can not be undone. We just ask you hand over the mare and you can continue everyday life with no repercussions."

"Soo.. gotta take a chance while you can, right?" he sighed, "I wonder if anyone got some to sell on the market.." he muttered, "Make a fortune out of kindness."

She made a face. "Honestly, that to me is just abusing the magic of that gift."

My shoulders drooped, and I stepped forward, ready to surrender, opening my mouth to speak. "Why should I?" the question came out in a challenging tone. "There's nothing in Tycia for me, or for her, we don't want to go back!" I shout, internally surprised at what I was saying.

Part of me planned on jumping on jumping onto Inca again and trying to run away with her again, but I wasn't sure I could continue pulling that off, the other half planned on waiting, as she was a tempered horse, and would easily cause a distraction, especially since she seemed ready to attack the other horse and the prince. I decided to stand my ground, standing slightly to the right of Inca

They weren't there, as they were with the other saola that had been shot down.

Not quite sure what I am doing, I carefully pull out the arrow and press my sleeve to the wound.

((If it's okay the staff won't be magical right now ^^))

You got all of your things and the backpack was now quite heavy, it would be hard to get too much else in. You decide you're ready to set off.

I say a quick goodbye to my dad and excitedly head out the door going to the nearest exit from thew town.

He looked taken aback and took a moment before saying anything, "I'm sorry you feel that way about Tyica, but my brother has a particular interest in this mare: she will most likely become a war horse of the highest ranking with a luxury lifestyle. In the arena, she looks unbeatable, making her investment worthwhile. Usually in Tyica, we encourage stealing" his tone got more confident, "but taking from royalty and being caught means a duel must take place."

His stallion came and stood beside him, head up, keeping fixed eye contact with Inca. She still looked determined but also wary, giving a small rear of indignation to the challenge. "As for yourself" Prince Sage spoke sharply, "I don't even recognize you. What do you have that someone doesn't? Perhaps try building yourself a life rather than wanting it on a silver platter, or leave and don't return. Tyica has no place for weaklings."

The saola put her head down, eyes closed, although you could still see the rise and fall of her breathing. Your sleeve started soaking up the blood. Your older brother ran in, "Hey, whats taking so long" he looked at the saola, "What you doing?" he asked confused

You left, walking down the cobbled streets. you had to move to the sidewalks to let horses and carts come through occasionally, but it was not that often. Coco was walking alongside you, jumping up onto walls when she could and sometimes disappearing into hedgerows and bushes for a long time.

You didn't pass anyone you knew well, a few acquaintances that said 'hello' with a nod of their head. You could see fishing boats on the horizon. As you reached the main town gates, you passed the town hall and town noticeboard, although you couldn't recognize any posters you hadn't seen before. Soon enough, you passed through the main town gate and onto the road outside, also cobbled.

You were currently on the main road, however to your left you knew there was a cove and beach, you could see the mountains as well that led up to Tyica. To your right was fields, a few trees dotted around, then a forest in the distance. Later on, the path would split left and right.
