Clearly not the best hand and fingers I've ever drawn, and it's in my math notebook, with not the greatest lighting, but I hope this helps a bit.

Thanks very much for the picture, that will help me a lot^^
My OC? He appears in one of my books and is a companion to my main character. His name's Grey, very imaginative, I know. It makes it even more ironic since his skin is grey, which is the first similarity I noticed. Of course, your friend has amended that by correcting Sanyi to a blue-grey, but details, details^^
He reminded me most of Sanyi though, because they both have horns and wings and tails. Grey's a Gargoyle, which means he turns to stone during the day.
I dunno, they're not super similar, but Sanyi just reminded me of him.
Probably because I freakin' love my boi :D

Gargoyles are really cool. I tried drawing one once and couldn't get any sort of proportions right. I was trying to make his head unproportionately large, but I couldn't properly proportion the unproportions, if that makes any sense.

Haha yup, makes sense^^
Though in my book, Gargoyles aren't disproportioned(unless they're actual gargoyles, y'know, like on castles and whatnot^^)
They're a guardian of one of the six types of magic (can you guess which one?), and as such were grossly propagandized to be bloodthirsty disfigured creatures.
Haha, now you know more about it than the average joe, since I haven't actually published this story anywhere :D

I'm going to take a completely random guess and say that they're totally fire. Definitely. XD
But actually, probably earth, since they're stone and all?
I don't usually publish my stories either, I generally just write them all on massive 100+ page google docs and never do anything with them.

That's better than all the random ideas and scenes floating around in the otherwise empty void of my brain, alongside those formulas I do not remember the applications for.

Fire it definitely is not.
Earth was close though. It's actually darkness.
A creature called the Leir are guardians of earth magic.
Yeah same^^ I write either with good ol' pencil and paper or on Word. I never do anything with 'em either, but I have a Wattpad account for when I maybe, possible, someday in the way future release my treasured babes into the world.
Maybe. It might happen^^
I draw more than I write anyhow.

Ah, I was trying for a bit of sarcasm with the fire one. Alas, typing cannot convey emotions...
That's unusually poetic sounding of me. All I can usually achieve is bad limericks.
I'll also see if I have any writing sitting around that's good enough to share. I have several notebooks filled with stories as well, because I can write in there during class and look like I'm taking lots of notes.

I was attempting the same, though I suppose I failed???
Typing cannot relay emotions well at all! I find myself psyching out that the other person won't perceive me right and think I'm being intentionally rude or ignorant.
Yea, I haven't shared a lot of my stuff, just 'cuz I got into media late in life (pfff, I got my first laptop at 17. Heheh, I'm such an uncultured rock bab), and so now I'm crazy paranoid about copyrights and digital thieves and stuff.
I get ya about the note taking. That made me laugh a little. The teacher must look up and think you're a zealous student vying for the most words written^^
Sadly, I'm homeschooled and my teacher's figured out that writing is a no-no during class :C
I need a less observant mother.
