I've got a ton of ideas floating around, so I'm definitely working on multiple stories too. I just tackle them one at a time and jot down any idea that pops in. I sorta work on my different concepts on a rotation, just working on them when I feel I've got something great to work with. Anything I can't use for the story I'm currently working on just goes straight to my notes so I don't forget.
I've had a lot of times where working on multiple stories has made me realize some of my early concepts work great in a different story, so it's all one big trial and error process. As someone who is a super casual writer I find it very fun, actually. The biggest challenge for me is always writing them the way I envisioned them in my head.

I dabble in all things fiction. Fantasy, Sci-fi, you name it! I think I even wrote a historical fiction short story.
The only fiction I don't really write is fanfiction, but I'm planning on changing that soon, mostly because of the AU idea I have.

Not that late. I had to go a few minutes after I posted that anyways.
So write on one until I hit a block, then move on to the next? That sounds a lot better than what I'm trying to do. I keep trying to write a few sentences, and then get an idea for one of the others and go off to that book.

That works well for some people! I find it hard to jump between projects rapidly because I'll just get my ideas mixed up. Plus, if I take note of them when I think of them then I can let them ruminate a little while I'm still on my current project. My best ideas are rarely the first formed ones.
As for what I like to write about; all sorts of fantasy! I'm a sucker for fantasy adventure or fantasy slice of life, though. I'm not comfortable with writing a lot of different genres, at least not yet. I used to dabble a lot in fanfiction, but it's become less frequent now that I'm older.

Its best to focus on one at a time. If you have to, have a spare scrap of paper or a blank document to jot down ideas before you forget. Hope that helps :)

I gotta question for y'all - when you create your stories, do you start with the worlds themselves, or the characters? I personally start with worlds, then characters. How do you keep track of your story assets?
Also, a PSA! If you have an account on Wattpad (or even if you don't, super quick signup), they're hosting an annual writing contest for completed novels (50K+ words)! Guidelines here.
I decided to enter my novel. After deliberating about copyright and word thieves, I took the time to upload all 35 chapters of Insomnia of the Heart, as opposed to the previous 10. That means you can read my entire book here, for free! (Lark plz yell at me if I can't advertise >.<)
Anyhow, I also have some writing advice. If you have an idea for something, but can't make it fit, make it fit. Early on, I ran into a lot of 'oh, this idea doesn't quite work. Oh well.' Don't do that! Make note of those ideas, and when you see an opportunity to use them, cram them in there! Better too many words than too few.

Thanks for that advice, I do that all too often xD
I start with the characters usually and make 50-slide-long character lists on Google Slides.
(I have a Wattpad too but I'm inactive now and my stories suck, I wrote them like a year ago and never deleted them ;-; My friend is conurecolors, check her out :P)

Awe, if it's out there, it doesn't suck! Trust me. It takes real balls to put your work out there!
I should probably start making lists of my characters to prevent me from mixing them up. I've got Rin, Ren, Zan, and plenty more three-letter filler character names that I've got to check to make sure I haven't duplicated them. xD
