X caught a spray from the gattling gun, thankful his armor took most of the blow. It took him a moment to try to get his bearings back.
"Made it this far, kid, no way in hell are we just handing things over."

Scias used his vantage point to aim on to the lizard's head and shoulders, firing a few shots in quick succession as he tried to retain his footing in the branches with the jolt of recoil.

(After all of that, the boss had a literal negative number health lol)

The Lizard man had lost too much blood to stay conscious. Not only that, but A few rounds of various weapon managed to find their way into his chest.
As he let out a last breath, his eyes rolled back and he stumbled to the floor. The heldron was no more. Unfortunately, similarly to some crustaceans, Heldron release a burst of poison upon death.
(-30 health to all party members)
Once his poison was released, he shriveled onto the ground like an abandoned snakeskin.

Zeth
Health- 82/200

Zeth had taken a beating, but nothing she couldn't come back from. She did need a moment though, leaning against a tree for support. She sank to the ground against it's roots, sitting for a breather.


Traqil
Health- 150/200

The poisen wasn't that strong, so he was able to shrug it off thanks to his armor.
"wow, what a fight. Glad that's over."
Temorin decided the best use of his time was to figure out what was so special about the bird...

Thank god for natural immunity to poison. Too bad the liquid still hurts. X grimaced as some of it made it past the exposed parts of his armor suit, dropping his gun and frantically wiping off his face in his hands.

Scias

On seeing the lizard fall, Scias figured it was safe to come down, not expecting the blast of liquid poison. He wiped it off himself along with some black ooze from himself, staring annoyed at Cillian.
"Shut up. Seriously."

Orion

Orion yelped as appeared back in human form just in time to get hit by the poison. He raised an eyebrow. "For once I have to agree with Cillian, I'm used to fighting, but for a bird? We'd better be able to eat it after all this trouble.

Kara
Health - 142
Kara had her arms crossed as the poison splat on to her. She looked at it disgustedly before turning to Tess. "Should be." She said to Tess. "Come on we have bird interrogating to do."

Zeth

"Temorin, what's with the bird?" Zeth asked as her attention was turned to Temorin who seemed to be holding something in his hand. She didn't bother getting up, too lazy to do so.


Temorin

Temorin had managed to catch the bird, discovering its claw was still closed.
He forced it open, finding something ever so curious in its clutches. Before much more than a moment, the once composed Temorin was jumping about with a huge smile on his face.
"Roenna! I'm a believer!" he shouted with laughter throughout his words.


The bird quickly flew off, headed for Spurge who had been behind a rock the whole time.
"Come here F*** boy!" Spurge said as the bird flew towards him.

Scias

Scias glowered at the old man through grit teeth.
"Alright, old man. We got you the bird back, now spit it out." He kept his rifle in full display, having more than enough of pleasantries.

"Hey, hey, Zeizan, don't go harassing the old man now, last thing we need right now is another fight." He stepped beside Scias, catching him by the shoulder.
"Forgive him, fight's got him all riled up."

Spurge seemed to laugh at the two Darizi, then pointing towards the shocked and overjoyed Traqil. The parrot seemed to be much quieter now that he was with the old man.


Traqil

"Zethrin. Zethrin Palentine, get a load of this. You won't believe it!" He shouted, running towards Zeth and then crouching beside her. He opened his palms and revealed a small shard, one with an engraving on it. It seemed to glow a faint purple, purple like the galaxies.

She squinted, reading the inscription allowed.
"From lands beyond the southern vulture, land of jewels and gemstone culture,
Find my brother much like seas, Find my siblings so the king flees"
She looked at it wide eyed, knowing exactly what the gem shard was.
"Traqil, this is it. Roenna is real...it's all real!"
