"if you want to die, then so be it!" ruby spits, rolling her eyes. "as for you" she turns to me "i can help you control it" she says, giving me a knowing look. "i don't need your help" i scoff, trying to brush past her, she grabs my arm, halting me in my tracks beside her. "you may think so, but just you wait. it will well up, consume you. it will over take you until it's the only thing you can feel. trust me, i know" she hisses, letting me go. i stumble a bit, before straightening out.

i don't want to lose control. i can't trust her. but she's right, i can hardly contain my power as it is, what happened with the shield? i had no control over that. I'm just lucky i didn't do something dangerous like when i took the pill. i could have killed us all, had something else happened.

maple leaned against a tree watching "or she just wants to use us for our power" she mumbled she sat on a tree branch and watched silently she didnt trust her and didnt want to go near her she was so filled with rage water lifted up around her she was just so lost in thought and Ruby reminded her of her mother and she hated her with a passion

i join maple under the tree, sitting on the ground next to her, toying with the grass. "i don't trust her" i say, after awhile of silence. "but i can't turn her down." i sigh. "i'm trapped between being dangerous because i can't be controlled by anyone, and being dangerous because i can be controlled by her. i don't want anyone to get hurt"

"do what you want i dont care" she said looking away "i know what im not doing im not working with her, or being around her, shes a threat and i signed up to be a hero not a villian" maple said petting her cat

I glance at Maple with distaste. We're under a lot of pressure, which I can understand, but her short-tempered attitude isn't helping anyone. "We'll figure something out. I think. I hope."

(i could have them grow closer in like a boss/worker relationship like she has with her other workers)

"you didn't sign up to be a hero, you signed up to be Angelas lapdog" bliss says, joining us "trust me. i would know. the moment you stepped out of line she'd be bringing out the restraints and holding your contracts over your heads" she smiles wryly, taking a sip from the wine glass in her hand. "i'm not as dumb as i look, you know" she says "i hear things"
