I personally prefer an earth or water tank, depending on what I'm doing. I usually use a team of water/fire/air. Earth/water tanks don't hit hard, but they're fantastic for absorbing damage. Light tanks give you healing, but they're a weaker tank.

Many people run teams with a light healer. Either as their tank, or in place of the fire. Running my team, I don't have a healer and that can be a deterrent for many people.

I'm not overly familiar with running a shadow as a tank, as I haven't done so since I first started. I know of people who love them as their primary tank, though.

Ultimately, there are a lot of team combinations. If you can think of it, someone probably runs a team that way. XD
