I based this Aeridini on the same tulip picture I used to design my Tulip Bulbori.

Spring thunderstorms are one of the most awesome things. Although they can cause a lot of damage.
Always thought nebula looked cloudy, frost runes looked like lightning and like the male pampas tail looked like it was caught in a strong breeze, so perfect excuse to use them together.

Using these images from here (it is Autumn here at the moment, and all it is right now is windy and dreary)

This is what reminds me of spring, when i go past these beautiful fields of gold *they are actually******seed oil fields*.

Heres a actual picture *not mine* of the fields from a pub that is on the same road.

My Aeridini design is based on 'Spring' from Alphonse Mucha's 'The Seasons', as seen here: http://www.muchafoundation.org/gallery/browse-works/object/99

Everyone always seems to think of flowers when they think of spring. I think of butterflies, and my choice was the Ceylon Rose, an extremely rare swallowtail butterfly found only in Sri Lanka.

I love the beautiful colours of the humming birds that return in the spring, I have based this little lady off of the Purple-throated Mountain-gem humming bird.

My computer won't let me do the image thingy, so I wrote down everything. I hope this counts. *crosses fingers*

It skipped spring and went straight to summer, so no rainy days. I decided to call my entry Sunny Skies, if it counts.

Here's my Aeri, loosely based on the American robins that are literally everywhere (where I live anyway) come springtime.

Based on the beauty of freshly bloomed flowers and the butterflies that come out to enjoy them. Coupled with the colour of a lovely clear sky and the colour of the shining sun, representing the majesty of spring and the dazzling colours that accompany it.
