My inspiration is a picture that was taken in Colorado, I've been wanting to move there in recent years. It is of a snow covered mountain with aspen trees with their fall leaves. I would post the picture, but I am taking the no multiple pictures rule very literally.

My design was based on the trees vibrant green becoming a collage of oranges and browns and then falling from the trees in the fall winds.
my inspiration was the rather strangeness of the Autumn season

This lass is based on the roiling autumn waters of Lake Superior, infamous for throwing surprise tantrums in the month of November. She is beautiful, but unforgiving. One example that goes down in eternal songdom is the Sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

I based my on the crisp fall skies. In my part of the country, it makes a big difference what season it is that affects the night. All of it is so beatiful, the moon, stars, constellations and much more.

This ryori is supposed to be ghost themed. So it's very light colors and I like using blues or greens or both for ghostly creatures.

Burning Bonfire Ryori
I don't think anyone will have a difficult time understanding the inspiration for this Ryori. The Fall Festival or Homecoming Bonfire is one of my favorite fall events. To me it heralds the end of the harvest time and beckons in the beginning of the darker colder winter months... reminding us to stay warm and close to the hearth and home in the frosty months ahead. It's also a great event to attend with friends or family and the smell of the charred burning wood and crisp leaves and the nebulous embers drifting into the cool night sky is so the definition of fall to me I don't have many words for it. This Burning Bonfire Ryori is known to dance amongst the embers and flames of fall bonfires all the while with fall colored leaves swirling within it's frame. It disappears like smoke when the embers themselves have cooled.
Thanks for considering my entry!

Spectral Ryori, since ghosts and spirits are usually associated with Halloween~

When I think of Fall, I think of Halloween. This also leads me to think of Villains.
Here we have the Red Queen.
Off with their heads! Paint the roses red!
