I really do wish I had a solution and these persistent issues (which I think began fall of 2016), will definitely be on my mind as I shape the future website.

So if nothing else, the issues will at least make me try and prevent them in the future.

But, yea... I totally wish I knew why the code is causing the issues for you and the few others, but nobody else. =(

Hidden areas have been added to the Festival Zone and the zone has been reset so all nodes and Named will be back up for everyone. =)

this might be to much work for you but the pets we release should either get sent to a sanctuary map where it's like 100 g each search you know? Like if you don't wanna do that with your pet then you will have that privilege but it was just a small idea and you could do something like this or close to it thanks for reading :)

I mean... You can reclaim them but it's 50 diamonds if you want to do that. (You can see what you've released by going to the pets section in advanced search, entering your username and changing the released option to yes)

I didn't get the reward for doing "Earn Leaderboard Reward Pouch from Contests" on the Festival Task Log, and it is not marked as done for some reason :3

Yeah, a lot of people haven't gotten the leaderboard tasks completed. Some of us definitely got more than five haha, so hopefully it's an easy fix and can be changed retroactively...

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure Krin knew it wouldn't be ready and spoke about running the retroactive award scripts when he ran the refund scripts after everything else was sorted.

Just want to drop in to say how much I'm enjoying this fest!

I love the Snowman Exchange feature and the reduction of relying on RNG to get sculpting items. It offers a great way to focus efforts on getting only what we want/need, and really motivates me to participate in the zone. I think it will also eliminate a lot of the 50+ regular frost essences/catalysts/seeds/etc. I usually wind up with at the end of a fest, lol - no need to keep opening regular pouches to get the one species that eludes me! I'd love to see similar features in future fests (though I acknowledge how much you already have to do to prepare for festivals, lol).

I also love the fact that premium and majestic items no longer offer prizes below their rarity. That was something my friend and I talked a lot about in past fests, and I know we both would love to see this change repeated in the future.

The task log is amazing, period. I really can't say enough how much I love this feature. I would take a bullet for the task log. I would raise it as my own child. Task log is love. Task log is life.

On a less silly note, I would just like to say that I can feel how Sylestia is growing as a site and a community, and even though I haven't been here from the very beginning, this place is so special to me. I think this particular festival is showcasing some of the changes that come hand-in-hand with the growing pains of a small game like this one - and I personally think you've done everything in a way that accommodates this necessary growth while maintaining the essence of what makes Sylestia special. I sincerely can't wait to see where you take us from here. Thank you!
