"Okay," Astraeus watched the sword with a skeptical eye because it glowed. "If things go as planned, you will not have to use the sword." She stepped outside of the door. "Lead the way, then. You are not going back. Think of it as rescuing the other children. Once the deed is done, you all will be free to do as you wish and go where you wish."

"Ah, nice sword you got there." Astraeus used a hand to hold back her hair as she stooped to drink some of the water. She finished, and straightened when she felt she was no longer thirsty. "We can set camp between this group of trees." She went deeper into the small grove. "Here would be an ideal place."

He nodded "I agree, The sand will keep us cool" he said with a forced smile
