Hello, readers! This is Magyak101 with this issue's Player Highlight. Today were focusing on Fantasizinga pretty well-known player who has been on Sylestia for a long time. Just how long have you been playing, Fantasizing?

According to my profile, it's been more than five years! ...that's longer than I thought, haha. I kind of forgot about the site for one or two years in the middle of that though, so in total that's about three years of playing.

Wow! How did you find out about Sylestia/what got you interested in Sylestia?

I saw an ad for it somewhere, and at the time the site hadn't actually gone live yet - but you could leave your email address, to get notified when the beta started. That happened to be the very next day! So I went over and signed up. I thought it would be fun to watch the site develop, and I liked generating/breeding pets.

I see. What are your opinions on the way Sylestia has progressed over the years (i.e. sylesti species, zone releases, game features, etc.)?

I think it's pretty amazing! Especially because Krinadon is coding everything by himself (I think?).
All the new species and mutations/genes are so creative and there are so many! It's a little overwhelming for me personally, but I like looking at the pretty sylesties others make. Also, compared to the format of the first two regions, I think the open world maps are very fun to explore. I haven't been in the megazone yet, but it's almost surreal it's here after all this time.

You mentioned you like breeding/generating pets. Do you do breeding projects, or are your designs random?

It's just at random, whatever looks fun. I'd like to do breeding projects but I don't really get it, using carried traits and all that. Never felt like finding out either

What tips/strategy suggestions do you have for newer players to help them have a fun and successful experience on Sylestia?

I don't know about success, but for fun, just take it easy! Sure, it's nice to have a lot of gold, but if you do missions daily you'll easily have enough. You don't have to play through all the regions in a week, or get a whole lot of special pets or legendary items. Just learn how everything works, find out what you think is fun, and then you can start working towards a goal.

What is your favorite Sylesti species so far, and what kind of Sylesti do you hope will be introduced to the game?

I don't know if I have a fav species, but I have a bunch of kelpari and zolnixi whose design I love, so I guess one of those two..? But luffox and ferrikki are super cute... I can't choose!
I think another cat-like sylesti would be cool! But a little sleeker than the vulnyx and lighira. Maybe with bird wings or more than four legs, for a sneaky predator look. An insect-like species would be nice, too.
