My Purple People Eater!

Based on the bright purples and oranges on Halloween costumes.

Steel Roses Ryori was inspired by the steel sculpture of roses that my spouse gave me for our eleventh wedding anniversary, which was on 31Oct18. (Yes, our anniversary is in the fall, on Halloween.) Evidently the appropriate material for eleventh wedding anniversaries is steel. I haven't been able to take a good photo of them, as I have difficulty getting decently-lit pics of metallic objects. However, I found a very similar image--



--except mine are shinier and have more leaves. Also mine actually depict the stem buds.

Anyway, I was looking for a suitable vase for them and found this--



This is going to be perfect!

While I was planning where to put the roses (once I have the vase), I imagined how they would look in various places--the brilliant steel roses in the pale gold mercury-glass vase.

Later, I thought up this Ryo. It is really hard to get the look of really shiny, colorless metal in the Generator, but this still makes me think of the roses and their vase. (So very rarely does spouse give me a gift that is completely impractical and just supposed to look nice.)




I didn't use Grim Roses because I don't know if we may use Restricted traits in the design. Also, I tried giving him Rose Markings, but then you couldn't see that they are steely-bluish.

My inspiration is the colors of fall leaves.

This design inspired by autumnal birch trees.

Halloween is the time of ghouls and goblins, so I designed something inspired by Ghostbusters(2016). The movie was ok, but imo Holtzmann stole the show ^-^

Autumn Carving Ryori

This Ryori is an Autumn carving, infused with live shadows. ;) Just like a real Autumn carving, she has been lovingly carved out of wood from the plentiful Winter firewood stockpile and hand painted with beautiful Autumnal colours to give her a charming design without distracting from the natural beauty of the wood. This carving, however, was completed during the Fall Festival, which allowed the actual essence of a Ryori to be born within its wooden frame, breathing life into it's previously still form. As if as proof of this, the infusion of the Ryori's shadow essence has allowed the shadows to seep through the wood and trail effortlessly in the air about her.
