You continue your stay at the marketplace, where nothing of interest seems to be happening. You know the ports are a little further south, and that the castle is somewhat North of your current position, as well as all the noble's houses.
Trying not to think of
those houses of the nobility, having had to give up that life a long time ago. Nicote (or Phoenix, i forgot which I'm using lol) wanders the streets some more. Roughly towards the port.

Anjox mostly lightly defended against your attacks, gentle hitting your wrists with the sides of his fingers. It was obvious he was much more experienced based on the way he moved, which was surprisingly fast based on how bulky he appeared to be.
As you take another swipe at him, he finally strikes, his hand sliding yours out of the way, and his hips swiftly using his forearm to knock you to the ground, then stepping back.
"Very good, though you must anticipate your enemies being able to block your attacks, they're fairly straight-forward and basic, jumping back and forth in order to disorientate, when all they need to do is find where you're falling and knock you down, or, as I did, deflect your swipe and knock you down" He described.
"Since you're the one jumping around me, I don't have to move as quickly to face you, and though someone less trained may get dizzy and disoriented, I'm well trained against those types of moves." Anjox warns you
She dipped her head politely, "I would usually have arm guards, and my flexibility means that whatever you block with I will claw. We are taught to sometimes fail or do false, weaker moves to bring our enemy into a false sense of security, and so we may attack from a downward angle." she explained
"Doing all the work is a disadvantage, but it is a decent warm up. I'm not strong, but my endurance is reasonable, so I have to risk running out of stamina, as well as risk a strong attack." she commented, "My natural weak side was the side trained due to normalities. Using both sides balanced is a skill I know needs improvement."
She looked to the side, "Out of pure respect, I can not use certain tactics on you. But, I compare your movements to-" she paused, stopping herself. No. She couldn't say it, it was what she knew from her old life, and she mustn't bring it up. "Offensive is fought through anger." she concluded, knowing that was the basics. There was a lot more to the offensive anger.

(Youre chatacters name is Nicote Marker, youre ysing the right name, dont worry)
As you wonder closer to the ports, the streets get more and more packed with people boarding and leaving ships. To the east, you see the road is cleared up a little more as it goes into a residential area, and to the west, there are some industrial warehouses for storing the imports and exports, the ships are still a little south from your current position.

"Well, regardless of any flaws in your style, it can take a lifetime of practice to truly perfect your abilities-" Anjox was cut off as the boat began to rock violently. Anjox instinctually wraps an arm around your torso and got close to the ground to prevent falling overboard, clinging tightly to the deck.
A long neck rose from the side of the boat that you were closest to, and a loud roar emerged from the ocean as a sea monster glared over the ship. Many soldiers, who seemed prepared for this moment rushed over to try to take down the monster as people fled below deck.

You head to the docks where you see all types of boats from various places, people dressed in traditional attire from other continents and cultures, making everything around here quite beautiful. What stands out most is the group of people dressed in long, deep crimson attire, out of place among the soft pastels of the rest of the port

Nicote gets interested and gets closer to see if he can hear where they're from.

"Y-Yes, most definitely, Sir." she dipped her head in thanks for his advice. She felt the rock shake and she automatically pulled into a position more balance for herself, then flelt herself hit the deck. "T-Thank you--" she breathed heavily, "Please get below deck, Sir"
She scrambled up and desperately looked around, staying low to the ground and knees bent. She then darted off, pushing down on each foot so she could try and balance herself more naturally if there was another sway. Prince Oba. She had to find him, then help defend against this thing. He was her first priority, she had to get him below deck and safe.

Anjox nodded, rushing to the nearest hatch to the below deck area. You see people shooting arrows and some magicians preparing spells against the beast, no sign of Oriah among them, and looking to the crowds trying to get to safety, you couldnt see any sign of the prince.
The two most probable solutions were that he either safely retreated below deck already, or that he fell overboard into the ocean. There was also a possibility that Oriah had taken him somewhere safely without you, though that was unlikely, as you know Oriah wouldnt abandon you.

She gritted her teeth, looking around desperately and pushing her way through the crowds, calling "Prince Oba" as loud as she could. She ran about, looking overboard to see if, although she dreaded it, fell in. She was not worried if Oriah had gotten him to safety, as she knew Leto was reasonably capable of looking after herself and would probably get more worried that Quillork hadn't got out faster.
